The Crew
The Crew is a racing game set in a persistent open world environment for free-roaming across a scaled-down recreation of the contiguous United States. The map is split into five regions: The Midwest, East Coast, The South, Mountain States, and West Coast. Each region has its own unique geographical features. Six main cities (one in each region, two in the Midwest) are featured in the game: Detroit and Chicago in the Midwest, New York City on the East Coast, Miami in The South, Las Vegas in the Mountain States, and Los Angeles on the West Coast. Various other cities, namely St. Louis, Washington, D.C., New Orleans, Dallas, Salt Lake City, Santa Fe, San Francisco, and Seattle, are also featured in the game. Over thirty smaller cities and towns line the countryside, such as Nashville, Norfolk and others. It takes approximately 45 minutes in real time to drive from coast to coast in-game.

I have logged thousands of hours into this game on console.
Back when I first got into gaming this was my first title aside from Minecraft, I didn't have good internet and wasn't able to play the full game for months as my network speed was so slow it couldn't even fully download the game. All I could play was the prologue over and over.
In the prologue one of the demo cars was a red 370z, after driving it so many times waiting for the game to download, I fell in love with this car, and now after many years of saving I managed to buy one IRL. I don't mean to sound corny but this game literally shaped part of me into the person I am today. If it weren't for this game I would have never been into cars as much as I am now.
I am so incredibly disappointed with Ubisoft's decision to take this game down. It was quite literally my childhood. I really hope one day they make a remaster or at least give us an offline version. I would literally pay hundreds just to play this game again.

One of the best and first racing games I've ever played, amazing story, amazing physics, music, character design, and an amazing map. I am so sad that they shut the servers down for this game and I hope some day it will be revived.

Hello.
I'm sharing my The Crew walkthrough played directly at Ubisoft Connect:
Summary:
**The Crew** is an open-world racing video game developed by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft, released in 2014. Set across a scaled-down version of the United States, the game allows players to freely roam and participate in races and missions either solo or with other players in a persistent online world. It features a narrative where the player, Alex Taylor, infiltrates a criminal racing gang to avenge his brother's death and uncover a corrupt FBI agent. The game emphasizes social interaction, car customization, and seamless co-op gameplay, blending arcade-style driving with MMO elements.

Goodbye old friend, You will be missed!! Saga of one of the best open-world racing games, with a great story to top it off, has now officially ended. A sad memory remains in my heart along with the pain and suffering the protagonist went through just to expose the truth behind his brother's murder. The Crew was hands down the best game in the franchise and I am very glad to have experienced it before it was too late.
