Games like Reflection are why I check out the Oculus Rift Reviews Steam curator, because I'd have never found this really nice game without it.
It's a puzzle room game but instead of the sterile "test chamber" theme I've become sick of seeing, this is a beautiful Oriental aesthetic with simplified graphics that will run smooth like butter on any system. They don't waste time rendering stuff and nonsense like shadows. Distant backgrounds look like matte paintings, which for some reason is a visual effects technique I still have a ton of nostalgia for.
Speaking of visual effects, one of the effects that has been very tough for even the biggest-budget AAA games to even attempt is.... reflections in mirrors! Ever puzzle room game needs its 'gimmick' and these devs made mirrors the main mechanic.
Near the end of the game they reveal that the "mirror" effect isn't actually reflections, when they reapply the underlying tech to create another type of mechanic. The game's puzzle mechanics bloom as you go, with new things introduced through the entire game. It's just as every puzzle game should be!
Puzzle difficulty is low to moderate, with a few that made me have to fully activate my puzzle brain. These days most puzzle room games try to be immersive by creating a continuous gameplay experience, but I disliked how Reflection is split into levels. There were so many loading screens, even when I was only in a level for literally 5 seconds before going to the next area!
I don't have too many complaints. The level design requires teleporting or jumping, so I don't mind it too much that it's teleport only. It could have been better. At least give players an option for smooth rotation.
The game reminded me of the first adventure game with first-part VR support that I played: Xing the Land Beyond. That's an adventure/puzzle and not a puzzle room game, but some of the large outdoor puzzles and switching between seasons in Reflection brought me back to that amazing game.

Very enjoyable game. I got about 6 hours of playtime over the 22 levels. Though, I tend to take my time and enjoy the surroundings. I suppose it could be done in half the time. It's a joy just to be able to experience the beautiful locations, mountains and architecture.
I really liked the puzzles. I only got stumped about 3 times else it was pretty straightforward but still fun to work out the solutions. The game uses mechanics such as mirrors to manipulate mirrored versions of the environment, gravity, differing timelines, and clones of yourself. At times you will use a bow and arrow and a fishing pole to break stuff or collect things. It's teleport and snap turning only, but I don't miss free movement here. It works fine.
Shorter people might have a bit of difficulty. I play seated and found a few things just a bit too far out of reach maybe 10% of the time. But you can just get up and reach over to what you need or use the controller stick to "wiggle" your character over. There's only one thing that might be too tall for some to reach and that's the fishing pole on top of the fountain on level 7-1. There's very few options, but a option to increase your height a bit would be great. One little nitpick, in English the return to game in the menu says "Go on game." "Go to game", "Back to game", or "Return to game" would make more sense.
The music is great and I love the art direction. It may look simple, but there are lots of beautiful tapestries and artworks amidst the flat-looking but intricate architecture. Rooms are populated with lots of little nickknacks and objects that give them a life and story of their own.

A beautiful experience. The environment and music combine to make a wonderful VR world. I'm not big on the teleport movement but in this case it wasn't too terrible. Most puzzles are not too difficult. I was only stumped a few times. I did need to seek out help on the final level but that was due to an incorrect assumption on my part. I did purchase it on sale. I got about 5.5 hours of play time but I like to look around at the art style. I played on my Quest 2 headset with both Air Link and Virtual Desktop without any issues.

Beautiful and so Peaceful.
Played with the Vive Pro 2 and it is wonderful.
The Puzzles are fun and I love the boat rides.
Be sure to look all around and explore.
Thank you for this fantastic adventure.

Minimalistic VR puzzle with some cool space and time manipulation mechanics.
It's quite short with only 20+ levels, but some of the puzzles are surprisingly challenging and might take a lot of time to solve. There is no difficulty curve: every chapter explores different mechanics without raising the complexity.
Graphics is very basic and looks like it was ported from Quest without any upgrades, but it still ok to look at thanks to minimalistic visual style.
Works on Reverb G2

This is a very lovely, casual, relaxing, chill puzzle game. The artwork is simply a joy to behold. The musical soundtrack is also really good. I have really enjoyed my time so far in this game. I did finish 3 out of the 7 chapters so far. The chapters are broken up into little mini-levels. So you can leave and your progress will be saved up to the level you were at.
This game is perfect for casual puzzle fans. I'm not sure if hardcore puzzle fans would enjoy this game because the puzzles, at least so far, haven't been very difficult. However, they have been challenging enough and the difficulty has been slowly increasing with each level.
The artwork is just so beautiful that the levels are a joy to explore. I was finding that I was spending as much time just looking around as I was trying to solve the puzzles. The musical soundtrack is also excellent.
Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs, however, I did walk away slightly from the lantern and then was unable to get back to it. There is no way to re-center within game or adjust height. You need the lantern to teleport. There is also snap turning available.
Rate ?/10. Learning towards a 7 or 8 out of 10. I do heartily recommend this game based on what I've seen so far.

great hidden gem for vr puzzle adventure lovers. if a developer reads this - are there any more hidden puzzles once you get access to all areas after the credits?
