Quest for Infamy
Return to the glory days of role-playing and adventure with this humor-filled fantasy epic, styled in the vein of classic PC RPGs, where you play the charming villain. Blending turn-based combat and spellcasting with puzzle solving and adventure, players can choose from three character classes—brigand (strength), rogue (stealth), or sorcerer (magic), each with unique storylines and adventures—in one of the largest retro role-playing experiences ever. A spiritual heir to yesteryear's heroic quests, adventurers are invited to explore a world of hand-drawn wonder, as they wind their way through trap-infested dungeons, battle slavering beasts with swords or custom-made spells, and steal entire town's worth of treasure from unsuspecting townsfolk. Being bad has never felt so good!

If you like point and click adventure games you must play this game. It's a modern classic! A+
If there were a checklist of things that I love in a video game this game has almost all of them. I say "almost all" because some of the things I like are pretty odd. For example: I like when I find vitriol (the chemical substance) in video games.

Reminiscent of Quest for Glory/King's Quest, Quest for Infamy delivers on the classic humor, mechanics, and plot of fantasy point-and-clicks of old. I enjoy the turn-based battle system compared to Quest for Glory, and the three archetypes give a little bit of flavor for each new playthrough. Some of the navigation is a bit tricky (e.g. knowing there's a path to the northwest of the Killington manor ) that snarled my enjoyment, but overall would recommend highly.

I'll get the negatives out of the way first, this games voicework is all over the damn place quality wise and the character portraits are generally hideous to look at. Oh and this games humor is a young teens idea of edgy.
Now, in spite of all that I liked this. The spritework and backgrounds were pretty to look at and the games combat system was interesting enough (if kind of weird by making each attack type have it's own stats). The story when the game didn't go into the aforementioned edginess was also quite good and told an interesting enough tale. They teased a sequel at the end and I would play it.

Of all the Quest for Glory inspired games this is the best one IMO. I enjoyed the story, the crass humor and even the combat. I really hope that we get that part II eventually!

This game is way better than I expected it to be. Challenging puzzles. Interesting story. Witty dialogue. References to games I love. Excellent.

I enjoyed this very much. I played it a couple of times through. Perhaps in a few years, I will play it again.
