Anything and everything is a weapon in Dead Rising 3. Explore the zombie-infested city of Los Perdidos, and find a way to escape before a military strike wipes the entire city, and everyone in it, off the map. With intense action and an unmatched level of weapon and character customization, Dead Rising 3 delivers a heart-pounding experience unlike any other as you explore, scavenge and fight to survive in a massive open world on the brink of a zombie apocalypse.

Yes I Recommend Dead Rising 3. Even tho its got its REALLY big problems.
Pros.
1. Story is good
2. I like the Protagonist (Like all Dead Rising protagonists Nick is Wise and funny)
3. The psycho Paths are funny, and great.
4. Killing zombies feels really good
5. Love the level up system and combat system.
6. THE CO-OP IS SO GOOD when you have a friend to play it with :)
HOWEVER
cons.
1. Game is locked at 30fps and if you push it past or up to 60fps it breaks the game. Also the only way to push to 60fps and on is putting something in your game via your games files. Sucks ass dude.
2. The physics suck badly, mainly when driving cars and coming in contact with stuff.
3. I personally don't like the area the game takes place in.
4. Most roads are blocked making your time spent in the game more irritating. They might as well call it Dead Rising 3: ROAD BLOCK CITY!
5. I'm sorry but the way Nick feels and plays feels like ass.
6. DLCs are......OK at best personally.
7. This GAME HAS A CHANCE OF RESETTING YOUR PROGRESS. I had to get a file that gave me a lvl 50 save file just to continue my 100% cause it reset on me due to it not wanting to save properly during the DLC runs i did. Something due to the steam cloud save corrupting it was ass. IDK if it was all Steams fault or Capcoms on that part. But thankfully i was able to get that ♥♥♥♥ back id have never finished or re did this games 100% if it wern't for that save file backup.
Overall, 7/10 i do like it. I wanna give it a higher rating, but i just can't. Its a bad port. Don't blame the game tho CAPCOM can't optimize any of their games for ♥♥♥♥. And this poor game came out around the time of BAD PC ports. Also this game has BIG problems. I wouldn't recommend this games 100% it was so irritating personally.

DR3: Zombie Apocalypse Minus the Timer
DR2 was my first taste of the series. Fun zombie apocalypse mayhem, insane combo weapons, and cartoony vibes… plus a timer constantly breathing down my neck while I ran errands for Chuck’s kid. Most of the gameplay stayed indoors. Stressful fun, but still stress.
In contrast, DR3 felt like a breath of fresh air. Big open city, no clock yelling at you, just pure zombie breakout chaos at your own pace. Same dumb, glorious weapon and vehicle crafting madness, except now I get to roam the streets as Nick Ramos, wielding pure absurdity, like punching zombies with flaming gloves and flattening hordes with the Burning Skull combo bike, aka a flamethrower on wheels. Peak problem-solving instead of babysitting a stopwatch.
As usual, the story pretends it’s serious. Nick pretends he’s not enjoying this. I pretend to care while setting half the city on fire.
Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½☆
Less pressure, more zombie madness. This is Dead Rising Unleashed.

A hood classic and one of the most underrated games of all time.

Dead Rising 3 is legit an underrated masterpiece. The graphics and atmosphere still age well to this day. The crafting system was so off the rails but also forgiving with upgrades you could walk into the street and craft some of the best weapons because of the ease of use and perks were very meaningful.

My mom got me this on the Xbox one back in the day, so I have a lot of positive memories from this game. I love you mom, and I’m very happy to have you in my life and mold me into the person I am. But honestly? Pick up on sale. 3rd best dead rising. It’s just a bit too easy I think. Would do the harder modes for a real dead rising experience. Might be my personal favorite 5/10

Dead Rising 3 is a game released back in 2014. I played it 11 years after and I really enjoyed it, BUT! ..
Before I even start to write this review, the first thing I have to acknowledge is, there is 30FPS lock from console port. It is possible to uncap it (check guides), but it might break the game, save files or it might bring problems with aiming. Keeping that in mind i finished the game with 30fps cap.
Also there are some bugs related to save games. If you want to re-play already finished chapters, then all safehouses are again infected, even if you cleared them trough your playing. Another bug I encountered was also about save files. After I finished main story, I started with DLC - untold stories. From what i read about it, you should have been able to keep your main character progress - levels, perks, everything and yet after the start of first DLC, the whole progress was reset again. I might consider it as a challenge to play from scratch with other characters, but it is still a bug.
Neverthless, I played this game for 29 hours so far, and I enjoyed it. The story is divided to eight chapters, the missions are really varied, and there are also timed side missions. You have only 7 days to finish the storyline, then the whole inficated city would be destroyed by bombs. Nonethless, the timer is really generous so you can finish all quests and hunt for collectibles with time to spare.
Where the game excels is open world, which is divided to four city parts. Whole streets are flooded with zombies which you can massacre any way you like. You want to fight them by hand? machette? rifles? You can. But you can also combine weapons which are much more stronger and effective. Are you tired of guns? Make a combo of motorbike and roller machine with flamethrower attached to front of the car and plow right though them.

If they remaster this in the future, buy the original as they will most definitely censor the remaster.
One of the most enjoyable Co-op campaigns out there. Definitely worth it, when its on sale.
Would recommend you don't play this solo as it will be less enjoyable.
