Rectangle Guy embarks on an epic adventure across the world to achieve… um… what exactly? To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. But you can find out by playing the game!
Who is Rectangle Guy?
Rectangle Guy is the protagonist of Rectangle Guy. He’s got pristine fashion sense, a… unique sense of humor and is an all around great guy. You’ll get pretty familiar with him over the course of the game and may even learn of unexpected stuff about him, if you know where to look.
A silly little game overview
Rectangle Guy is a simple platformer at its core. You run, you jump, you reach the end of the level, etc.. Rectangle Guy also comes equipped with a downwards dash ability. This allows him to greatly increase his horizontal and falling speed. While not exactly necessary to beat the game, it opens up a bunch of new ways to tackle levels.

There’s boss fights at the end of each world!
Levels in each world can be played in any order!
Yogurt improves skin health (this one has nothing to do with the game, it’s just some cool info)!

Simple yet challenging, this game strikes a perfect balance between heart and humor—clearly, a lot of passion went into crafting every detail. The humor throughout had me smiling even during the most intense moments, and the level design is nothing short of brilliant. Each theme feels fresh, and while the challenges push you, they never feel impossible, just the right amount of tricky. Plus, the soundtrack? Pure fun! It added so much to the experience, making even the toughest sections enjoyable. You can really feel the love in this one. Great job, dev, truly!

The game can be completed in less than an hour, and there's a short mini-campaign you can complete after you finish the game. It has an early 2000's vibe to it, with some great background art and some great music. It's one of the more simple platformers I've played, but it's really charming. To be blunt, I quite enjoyed it and it gets a solid recommendation.
If you're looking for a game to toss into your speed running lineup this is also a great choice.
