Demon Hearts is a 2D platformer game that will leave you feeling blood thirsty for victory every time you play! Take the winged and dangerously swift Vampiress Snow, through many challenging silhouette environments while withstanding the many divergent demons, evil forces, and bosses you will stumble across. Be vigilant to your surroundings as you traverse through many puzzling levels and transform into invincible blood sucking bats to battle your way through each checkpoint! Use your remorseless katana skills to find each level’s Demon Heart and then cut into its flesh to advance to the next level! Will you slay all the Demon Hearts? Will you slay them faster than your friends? Will you become the ultimate Demon Heart slayer?

Dev may get a little offended by mentioning it but I will anyway since it's a great combination. Demon Hearts is basically a blend of They Bleed Pixels, Electronic Super Joy and Super Meat boy. Games like this require responsive controls and upbeat soundtracks, thankfully it provides both. 50 odd levels and secret areas to discover, while the hub system makes backtracking a breeze. Supports remapping of controls and 4k+ screen resolutions via the unity launcher.
Price may seem high but if looking for your next rage inducing platformer, look no further.

Demon Hearts-- it's a fast paced precision platformer, that wears its inspirations on its sleeves, it takes all the best lesons learned from platformers of recent years and jam packs them into 50ish levels. The controls are simple and the gameplay is deep without being too complex.
There is no doubt that you should pick this hidden gem up, as it's only $10, especially if you're a fan of games like, Super Meat Boy, I wanna be the Guy, Wings of Vi, etc.

I really like the upbeat soundtrack to add into the puzzle platformer mood of things.
I also like that you have a death button to maintain your momentum, if you happen to mess up. This adds a cool effect for people who are trying to speed run through the game and get the fastest time.
The fact that each of the unlockable characters have their own unique playstyle, which makes it challaneging.

Really a fun and cute little game!!! The music helps keep you set in the mood that you need to complete this level quickly and it is a bit challenging until you get the hand of the controls. I recommend using a controller instead of the keyboard. Overall I really enjoy it. It is uncomplicated enjoyment. Plus the character and the world are all very cute :3 You will enjoy this game. Worth the price I would say.

Really nice hardcore platformer.
I wasn't expecting much (I had been on a losing streak when it comes to gambling on low-priced but kinda fun looking games), but the amazing soundtrack got me pumped and then I was very happily surprised by tight controls, interesting mechanics, good level design, unlockables, secrets, boss fights, and really just lots of fun. and you gotta love that pink blood.
Definitely recommended for fans of hardcore/precision platformers. If you've played a lot of them you'll recoignize its influences, but it has its own unique feel and playstyle, which I thought was a lot of fun. and you can turn into bats! bats are cute!
