About the GameBuild your crappy vehicle into a race car by installing the parts yourself. Make money by cutting wood, racing at night or delivering pizza. Maybe you want to manage a sugar shack and make tons of maple syrup or build yourself a big garage?
Context
You need to keep yourself fed by drinking delicious Maple Syrup and eating Poutine, welcome to Canada!
It’s taking place in 2005 with the hot scene of tuned cars and wanna-be streets racers.

– Lots of upgradable parts on the main vehicle
– Install the parts yourself on the vehicle
– Trailer / Boat / ATV mechanics
– Bodywork tool & a very flexible spray paint system
How about in-game cash ?
– Boil sugar water and sell barrels of Maple Syrup
– Streets races at the night meet
– Deliver pizzas
– Grow plants / Sell weed joint
– Grow & Cut down trees to sell logs, or split it and sell for firewood
– Gather parts at the scrapyard to sell

It's as hammy as it looks in the trailer. Some parts of it are a bit of a tedious grind (making money early on). Some parts of it are bad and dumb (if you touch a pedestrian with your car, you instantly die). There are various things that you probably wouldn't know to do unless you saw a YT video or checked the wiki.
But the french canadian jokes are funny, and it's satisfying tinkering with the Konig. It's a bit of a meme game, so you gotta meet it halfway.
This game is good like a Twinkie is good, which is to say there is a part of you that knows it's NOT good, but you still keep coming back.
I give it an uncertain thumbs up.

tbh I got kinda bored with it after a while. All the interest in the game is about buying upgrades to tinker on the car, but buying the parts costs so much, and it just ends up being a game about farming potatoes and making syrup, which would be fine, but neither of these activities is very fun to do and is like watching paint dry. I didn't feel like I was getting to tinker much on the car at all because I was just doing tedious chores to grind money. Some of the NPCs and stores are only available on certain days or only at certain times of day, so sometimes I found myself alt tabbing out of the game to watch youtube while I waited for the game clock to tick forward 30 minutes so I could go in the store.
Fortunately, the game does include easy cheats if you want to just give yourself money and skip this part, but then it's not much of a game.

Drove off a cliff with in the 5 mins of driving, took 30 mins to get car unstuck, had less than 1/16 tank left and got to the gas station and they closed right as I walked in for some gas, slept in car until shop opens, died right when they reopen, 10/10 game play

Oh my god this game is like my summer car but it is for people who want to take it easier on themselves and not have to build a car that takes 500,000 hours to build. I highly recommend this game to people who want to get into MSC, because it is not as stressful, more interactive and is just more fun than having to disassemble the entire engine block because the piston fired through the oilpan. And the best reason? NO FUCKING DIFFERENT SPANNER SIZES!

Highly addictive once you start making money to upgrade the car and make investments to sources of money.
