every popular, expensive, hyped game is a bloated attempt to achieve the idea it's performing something original or unique. these buggy messes arrest everyones attention dulling them to accept a disproportional hi res lie of an experience. hundreds of people and millions of dollars are dumped into piles of light and sound barely keeping themselves together so everyone can feel good theyve participated in the newest thing. they didnt miss out on some crucial moment in history
this was made with 1% of the resources those other games inhale and excrete in obscure and fruitless ways. when a game is this solid it gets closer to perfection than anything winning awards or selling ad space. it's small. it's simple. it gives you the freedom to enjoy it in exactly the way you want
the levels are short but wonderful to look at and relaxing to explore. managing spells has a committed feel to it. theres no energy bar or refilling pool of magic. each spell (dozens to choose from, only 6 can be equipped) has to be charged with a potion to unleash its full effect. you can control the crowds with wind and lightning or summon an amount of skeletons i am amazed doesnt crash the game. the music is really good, and it feels like those hills disappearing on the horizon roll on forever
proportionate. the only way anything should be made. arcane domains was cast with what was at hand, and absolutely nothing was wasted

Fun indie game. Levels aren't too long and it's fairly neat. The multiple spells are kinda cool. Being a wizard is always cool.

THIS REVIEW BROUGHT TO YOU BY YOUR RIGHTFUL RULER, THE OLD LORD OF THE DEEP REACHES, AND HIS EXCESSIVE USE OF CAPSLOCK TO PONTIFICATE HIS EMINANCE. (JOIN OUR CURATOR GROUP NOW, ALL SACRIFICES ACCEPTED.)
NOT THAT MUCH CONTENT, AND VERY SIMPLISTIC, HOWEVER IT IS STILL QUITE ENTERTAINING. WHILST NOT HAVING INTRICATE SPELL SYSTEMS OR SUCH, WHAT SPELL-CASTING THERE IS ENTERTAINS FOR A GOOD WHILE.
CERTAINLY SOMETHING TO BUY TO PASS THE TIME ON PERHAPS A LAPTOP DEVICE WHILE SAY WAITING FOR YOUR TORTURER TO FINISH HIS "NEGOTIATIONS" WITH YOUR "GUEST".
