Fears to Fathom – Norwood Hitchhike

These short little episodes are great but paying for each individual episode is stupid, I want to keep playing but I'm not paying the prices the developer is asking. All episodes for $19.99 CAD would be reasonable but almost $40 at regular price is insane. Put all episodes into one game for one price and stop making it difficult for people to enjoy the game, this is not how video games should be sold, it's annoying as f*ck.

I didn't finish the game because my brother liked the walking aspect of it and he decided to take 43 minutes and walk to the edge of the map and jump off instead of playing the game because it was just too scary for him. He gives the walking part of the game a solid 5 out of 7. This changed my entire outlook on what it means to have fun while playing a game.Would recommend.

Never go to gaming conventions.

VHS-styled horror game, it is more lengthy than Home Alone and at times a bit more scary :)

I wish there was a neutral button for the recommendation. For an Indie dev starting out making games its not bad. It did take until 35 minutes into the game for the first jump scare and I beat the game in about 50-55 minutes. If your a fan of true Indie games and like games with a very retro feel to them then this game is for you. Its worth a few bucks if you catch it on sale or buy it on discount in a bundle deal. $5 is pushing it I feel its more of a $2-3 game. I was sort of let down on the overall game play after playing the first Episode but I will play Episode 3 and see how that is. Would have been nice if there was a setting for the in game sounds and a bit more light on the road during the driving parts.
