Ultimate Obstacle Course – Prologue
Ultimate Obstacle Course – Prologue
Welcome to the first episode of an infinite playground of possibilities, where intense, adrenaline-fueled free running meets immersive VR simulation. Run, jump and slide your way through a virtual gauntlet with your body as the controller, and prove yourself to be the ultimate obstacle runner.
Competitors and level designers will have the tools to create challenging and visually striking courses in VR. Combine varieties of blocks and game mechanics to create all new courses and a completely customised gameplay experience. You’ll be able to share your levels, challenge your friends, and even participate in high stakes tournaments.
Make it. Run it. Share it.
Ultimate Obstacle Course – Prologue is a small taste of the much bigger vision from Dark Slope, to create an incredible competitive and creative community of runners and designers. As well as a platform to build, create, play and share experiences with friends, we are making a competitive VR esport that everyone can be a part of.

I like how the gameplay feels and the overall game is really fun. But sometimes wenn i run I accidentaly press the left menu button on my controller and it throws me right out of the Lv, tats a bit annoying.
But still a very fun game.

While 'Ultimate Obstacle Course - Prologue' isn't exactly original it does still have massive potential. It's a single-player, or online multiplayer obstacle course in which you will be running, jumping and climbing your way to the finish line. You can customize your avatar and I presume there will be unlockable clothing and items to dress it with as well when the full game comes out. This demo game looks pretty good to be fair to the developer and the multi-path levels will bring some extra strategy to the levels. As long as the full game has the right price I think this will do well, essential given the success of games like Sprint Vector. But sadly it is an Oculus Rift Only game, so that might mean there is a lack of other players to race against. Do check out my pathetic time of 04:01.54 in my gameplay video:

Before I played Ultimate Obstacle Course, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

A bit hard to play, but should compete with Sprint Vector for the title of 'VR fitness game whereby your arms will eventually dislocate from swinging them too hard". If I recall correctly, I wasn't able to jump past the first few parts of stage 1, so I can only claim to 'technically' playing this. It's free and the overall presentation and assembly is top notch, so there's that. VR fitness games aren't very aerobic if you die alot.
