Empathy: Path of Whispers
Blinking against the light, you step into a world that seems broken apart, almost dead… Yet there is a pulse, beating faintly in the back of your mind. What has happened in this place, where the people are gone and their memories echo in the silence? Where emotions appear as physical things, hanging in the air, just waiting for someone to reach out… Empathy: Path of Whispers is an atmospheric and story-driven adventure game where you explore a seemingly abandoned world through the emotions and memories of the people who once inhabited it, trying to restore the world’s lost balance as you journey through its past. With a strong focus on storytelling and exploration, players will find themselves in a surreal world created from people’s emotions and memories, which can be manipulated and explored. Those lost memories are the key to rebuilding the crumbling world back to its former state, discovering its mysterious past and halting an impending apocalypse.

Loads of atmosphere, absorbing story, puzzles which are somewhat puzzling but not too much (that's good, by the way - I've already got a job). All in all, excellent.

This decent looking but pretentious game will leave you scratching your head by the end. I just finished it and have no clue what it was about. My "upvote" is out of sympathy for the work that went into creating it more than being an actual recommendation. I enjoyed some of the in-game artwork and visuals more than the stories themselves.

I don't enjoy too many walking simulators but this one I really enjoyed.
Love the story, the graphics and the various interactions within the game.
I did have a few issues with getting some achievements in the 2nd last chapter and after some persistence I got them all.

I'm hardly done but I've been playing through it in small doses. You mostly sit back and observe everything around you and unravel the story through snippets of sound and objects.

I really liked this game. It reminded me of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, which I don't even know how many times I've replayed over the years now. Empathy was similar in many ways, in gameplay as well as in the method in which the story is delivered. Thanks for this, and please make more games!
