Wild Woods is a couch coop action game with roguelike elements. One to four players take on the roles of brave little cats defending their wooden wagon on its way through a dangerous forest.
Clever cooperation is key as their way is full of obstacles. While the bright daytime is all about collecting resources, things get risky during the night. When the sun sets, bandit bunnies and badgers are going to attack! The feline friends must defend their wagon and shouldn’t let their fire go out.
During their journey players must decide whether to head into ancient ruins to upgrade their wagon in exchange for gold – or to drive deep into the heart of the forest and face the bandit king. He will be expecting them…

I tried the demo of this game a few years ago, shortly after looking for something similar to Unrailed. My wife and I joined the creators' Discord and followed every game update, rooting for its release.
The game is very fun and easy to play, besides being super cute. For anyone who enjoys couch co-op, it’s fantastic.

The game is simple and fun. It's a basic Roguelike and it's still very early in its life. As is, on 03/18/2025, I feel like 3-5 hours is all you're going to get out of the game. It's not got a ton of content in yet but it's serviceable and enjoyable. They have plans to add a lot more and I have made some suggestions to keep up replayability but ultimately this is a game, I enjoyed it, got about 3 hours out of it so far and feel like I beat all the current content. It's a little pricey for the current content but you always have to remember that you're paying for the game's future, not just the current state of the game. The devs seem like they want to do more and it's being worked on, maybe not as fast as a lot of people would like, but it is marching forward.
So, I do advise you wait for a sale, the game felt like $5-8 worth of play for me but you will probably enjoy it, the more people you play with will give you more time, and the world is really neat. So I recommend this game, just not probably at full price as is.

Very cute and chill game! The endless mode adds some nice replay-ability to the game, absolutely worth picking up on sale. Really nice couch co-op as well, having the option to still play online with multiple people connected to one device is rad. Rosie is adorable as well, big ups to Rosie.

Multiplayer is probably the biggest. It suffers a lot of problems when connecting with other folks off-cable connection. Lots of crashes and desyncs.
Had an interesting error when I switched networks to another location where two of me popped up in the lobby.
Controls a bit wonky, please offer player support the ability to change controls for keyboard!
Overall fun game with potential. Would love to see some more RPG elements like the option to pick different classes for characters such as a Mage or a Rogue, and maybe a few extra different weapons or movesets for the weapons we have. Looking forward to seeing what gets added in the future!

Just finished chapter 2 and I have to say that I really enjoyed my time with the game. I hope the developers bring out more content for the game and keep working on it.
I recommend everyone to play the tutorial first, as it explains the basics of the game and makes it easier to get into the game.
I've been looking forward to the game for a while and I have to say that my expectations have definitely been exceeded.

Love this game so much! Such a fun cosy game, but also very challenging when you up the difficulty!
We played with just 2 people, and I imagine playing with a full 4 would make the game immediately much easier!
Love it!
