One feature that differentiates this game from many of the other space sims is that you can not only build your own ship, but you can also control a character in your own ship and the other ships and space stations in the game. I'm excited for the future of this game! One thing this game really needs though is an option to pin recipes. I keep finding myself walking back and forth to the multiple crafting stations only to find out I need to mine some more asteroids.

Don't dismiss the game, it's beautiful and has a lot of potential! Would love to see planets and abandoned stations, ships and wrecks!

I like the concept but I can't play it, there's something about the text used that just makes me nauseous I have no idea what the deal is there, but the gritty and fluctuating pixel style in small fonts just genuinely gives me a headache and makes me feel sick, never had that happen before.
I'll give it another go if you ever make the font less abrasive to look at, in the meantime best of luck.

I really like the concept, and I will keep playing every now and then, but there are some things I wish to be changed or be in the game.
I sat down and looked at what could perhaps be improved, but please don't see my suggestions as bad criticism but as well-intentioned ideas.
For the inventory system. I don't really like it that every block you destroy is dropped and blocks one slot in your inventory. My idea for that is that every block drops their crafting components, or just a few of the items required to craft them, and another tool to safely disassemble parts of the enemy ship to get the full block.
I know that the small inventory is intended as a challenge that you have to overcome and where you have to think carefully about what you keep or leave behind. One possibility for inventory management would be a system similar to Space Engineers with a maximum weight and/or volume for inventory where every item has some weight and/or volume. It takes away the slots that can be very annoying if you have a lot of individual items but doesn't make it easier to carry tons of stackable items, like if you would increase the amount of slots. This way it wouldn't take away the challenge of the small inventory and also makes another upgradeable thing for the character or ability for armor. Also a nice thing to have is the move one stack option you have in storage crates to crafting stations.
It would also be nice if you could have ship-wide storage that would change in size depending on the amount of storage crates on the ship. This would also make inventory management easier. Maybe as a later game option with a new storage block. It could also work in sync with the crafting stations. For example, you could access it in the GUI of the crafting station.
Other ideas I have are, for example, a change in the pickup of dropped items. Right now you automatically pick them up when walking directly over them. My idea is that all items in close proximity (about 3 or 4 blocks) pop up in a small list on the side of the screen or close to the character, and you can select what item to pick up. Excluded from this could be ores that are mined and, of course, money that would be automatically picked up as they are right now.
Maybe change the cruise mode in the way that it disables or enables the dampers of the ship. That way you can fly by inertia like with the suit without locking your controls, or the same way as now when enabled (another idea from Space Engineers).
You could also add an option in the setting for spacesuit travel. Right now you move with WASD with W as UP, but when changed, it could also work like a ship that when you press W, you move in the direction you are looking. (only when in zero G and not wolking in a ship or station). This would maybe make it more intuitive.
Add maneuvering thrusters. Right now the rotation of ships is quite fast, a bit unpredictable and unrealistic, and side movement is not possible (as far as I know), and this could maybe make it possible to regulate the rotation speed based on placement and amount of them, make combat more interisting by slowing the enemy's rotation by destroying them to avoid front-facing weapons, and make movement easier.
Increase the amount you can scroll out. When flying at high speed, asteroid and other ships/stations may be hard to avoid and/or to find, and you could also be able to see your whole fleet at once. I dont know how much it would impact the performance. Two ideas that I have from other games would be the possibility of zooming out almost indefinitly if that requires little performance, similar to "Cosmoteer," where everything is very small but details can still be seen when you move the mouse over objects. or if it requires a lot, it could become a kind of tactical view where all ships, stations, and asteroids become markers similar to the map. This could be similar to the game “Heat Signature”.
The map is useful for sure, and it would be even better if it had a scale, could be zomed in or out, and could be changed in size.
The dialog option when you interact with things would be nice if you don't open a window that covers your whole screen, but maybe a small one at the bottom of the screen or just the clickable options as buttons without a window.
I hope some of my ideas can inspire you to make the game even better. I know it's a lot of work, and maybe you're programming all alone, then you definitely have my respect, and I hope you don't lose interest in your work. I'm excited to see how the game develops further.
PS: I apologize for my grammar and spelling. I'm from Germany, and my English isn't necessarily the best. I used Google Translate and a spelling correction site, and they aren't necessarily perfect.

I'm glad I found this little gem I own pretty much every space exploration game known to man and yet none have the features of controlling your own character on your ship, in space, mining, exploring, taking over other ships or just keeping it friendly while you build.I'm looking forward to see where this title warps too keep up the excellent work Dev.
