This action sci-fi shooter is looking to push the boundaries of first-person shooters to new levels with slick graphics, rich narrative and RPG elements. Train, develop your character, collect and upgrade countless weapons, gear and body implants and take control of the monster-infested ship. The story will take you back to the ESS Meridian, right to where the original plot ended. However, you are not meant to take a rest something is brewing deep within the recesses of the spaceship. It is much more dangerous than a horde of the undead – it is threatening to enslave your mind and bend it to its will. Are you going to fight back?

Recommendation:
Would I recommend the game? Yes, it's a good, basic game if you just want to kill zombies with a variety of weapons and abilities. It's a decent little looter shooter with an easy level and story progression system. Everything is simple to understand and fairly intuitive.
"BUT" achievement hunters beware: DLC is required for 100%, and lots of the achievements are temperamental in my experience, so do your research before purchasing this game if you want to get 100%. While they are a little buggy or temperamental to get to pop, they are all still attainable.

Honestly, a bit janky and feels like a mobile game port, but I really enjoyed it. Good weapon variety, some enemy variety, plenty of progression systems without it being overly complicated and no microtransaction stuff.
Definitely feels low budget in areas, like the voice acting and scripts. Some of it isn't too bad but some of the characters are neigh unbearable in my opinion. Don't think I could play the edgelord character regardless of how good their abilities might be, haha. It's kinda part of the charm though.
Worth trying. It's cheap and often on sale for 80% off, so grab it for less than £2 and enjoy.

Dead Effect 2 is a game that offers a fantastic visual experience, but lets itself down with very basic issues. That said it is in no way a terrible game, and those looking for a viable first-person shooter should certainly give it a bash if you’re fed up with the usual titles on the market. If precision and polish is something you can’t look past though, then you may feel slightly disappointed.

Shout out to the golden era of iOS gaming 2010-2018. For years, I ditched PC gaming for mobile gaming, and this series was one of my go-to mobile games. It's corny as hell, but it scratches the right itch for zombie infested space shooters, loot collecting, log reading story telling (system shock), etc. It has several game modes and difficulties. For the era it came out in, the visuals worked.

Cleared this offline a few years ago. Story is bland but the gameplay is quite enjoyable if you're into mindlessly beating hordes of zombies.

Honestly didn't expect this game to be really good but it really came through. I was sitting there with two of my friends playing this game getting really into it. The funny chaos of the game is great and makes it fun plus the dialogue of the game is PERFECT. I thought maybe it be a rip off Dead Space game but nope this game sticks out as a mixture of Dead Space & Borderlands humor honestly.
