MAGICAL DEATHPAIR

Warning: This is not a full game, only the chapter 1! The story cuts out in the middle!! Most likely we'll never see the ending!!!
That said, the game itself is pretty good. The artsy parts are beautiful, I found the characters interesting and well developed, the plot is a bit confusing at first, but gets pretty good with time. The game mechanics are kind of boring (walk around, speak to NPCs, sooometimes make a choice), but you get used to it and the narrative makes up for that (at least for me, since I really value narratives). By itself, all this would make a great game for me, BUT...
There's the fact that I only found out it was a "Chapter 1" game once I finished it. Really poor communication here, feels a bit like I was conned or something. THEN there's the fact that it's been 3 years and chapter 2 is still not translated. Searching on the internet, seems they are almost done translating and chapter 2 in english will be released in summer 2025, but the length of chapter 1 (it's quite short!) feels like it's taking way too long for the release. AND THEN there's the fact that, according to the internet (which honestly is wrong half the time, but still), not only chapter 3 development was halted in favour of Homicipher, but Yatsunagi, the solo developer, quit due to being overworked and overwhelmed by demands and whatnot. So yeah, that's probably the sad, premature end of this story.
I'm still recommending the game, not just because it's pretty interesting even without an ending, but for the slight chance it will be picked again for development if sales go really well. Who knows.

I loved this game! I didn't except much going in, because it was supposed to be a short game. However, this game managed to create such a pleasant experience in only a few hours.
The art is stunning and the story is very captivating! I really love the characters. I wish we could get the end of the story someday.

Definitely a game that is flying under the radar. If you even have an inkling you might like it, you should absolutely give it a try. I'm looking forward to future releases.

Amazing game! I was not sure what to expect about it but it definitely surprised me. I loved the thematic and the characters, they're all very unique but their actions make more sense the more you play the game. Very interesting swifts in the story, that definitely obsessed me. Do I have to say I love Glass? His character stole my heart (probably a big red flag lmao) but still! Amazing experience! Be aware that this game contains chapter 1 only! But really worth it, I heard the game is being either translated or chapter two hasn't been released yet, either way. If you're into battle royal and mystery plus interesting and handsome characters, get this game:)

I love this game wayyyyyyy too much!! The artstyle is really nice, I adore it. The characters have a lot of depth and they're pretty distinguishable considering how they all have different personalities (but this somehow slaps harddd). I'm patiently waiting for more, lots of love and support to the devs and Yatsunagi <33

I absolutely love this game; from character design to story everything is just great so far. I can´t wait for chapter 2 to be localized! ❤️
