Very cool concept. It is in early access but you can still learn how to mix on realistic gear and play at different scenes. Can also use your own music from your computer which is a plus.

Took a chance given some of these reviews but this is absolutely worth it, especially on sale. It's honestly a pretty nice, well-rounded achievement.
Beat.School combines the features I wanted from a few different DJ games, like realism and active crowds / dynamic environments, and of course ability to use my own tracks. The built-in tutorials with a master were a pleasant surprise, however, there is plenty "under construction" including tutorials for the game itself. There are also bugs with mixer/deck selection that cause no rig to appear at all, and there are a significant number of buttons that aren't functional - for example it appears effects and color don't work in any device, nor do loops.
However, I was able to load my own tracks in multiple playlists, beatmatch, mix, use cutoff filtering, listen to cues, and entertain crowds of people who react to the music by dancing at different speed, and joining the dance floor as the music gets more dynamic.
One actual bug that makes me avoid the Denon Prime is that the cross-fade doesn't seem to work, only the individual track faders work.
My next request would be more SFX/color/loops, larger playlists, knowing which songs will NOT play (it's annoying to put a track in your playlist and go to play it and have it queue up forever without ever loading), and bug fixes of the equipment. I would also like the tutorials for the game itself to be available.

This game is good for someone wanting to learn some basics in DJ'ing .. beat matching , fading etc. controls are pretty clunky, You cant split deck outputs, would be great if you could have your mixing track playing in your headphones and the music playing through your speakers.

just a simple game but the features it needs is
1 a way to control the lights while DJing
2 USB DJ turntable compatibility (for example ion discover DJ and any other DJ turntable out there)
if those 2 features can be implemented in the game this would be a great game

I love it!! The graphics is pretty good. Compared to PC Building simulator level. I DJ in real life but too afraid to sort of show myself so I wanted to try something more virtual.
