I've got to say i'm kind of disappointed. the reviews i read sold me on a game that was barley worth half its price let alone full price. one that would be a soul sucking slog to get though the glitches and bugs to play a mediocre empire lite sim. That's not the case.
oh sure its got bugs. i mean not being able to build the games two only wonders is not the mark of a good game, and the occasional freeze's where you got to wait for the game to catch up to what your doing is not fun. but those freezes are really only in the early game and the wonder's give you nothing but score so i would hardly call them problems.
the games, got a lot of charm to it. the developers really understood the tone they were going for and went with it. sure its no 4x strategy game but there are too many of those right now and some time's you just got to go simple.
Simple management is the name of the game. it a fun time to just boot up and waste a few hours. it's not an exhilarating experience that will challenge you mind. go in pick a animal colonize some planets. it's that easy.
the game does lack a degree of replayability but its not nearly as bad as some other reviews will make you think. a full set of challenge's and randomized system's keep the game fresh enough for a few rounds. it' not endless sense eventually you'll find each game follows the same pattern but it's like 7 dollars, i got 6 hours of gameplay before making this review. i could probably go another six if i wanted and still have fun with it.
TLDR buy seven dollar game, get seven dollar enjoyment.
