Cockwork Industries Complete

Came here from the developer's latest game, Countess in Crimson, and expecting more or less the same, but less polished, given this is several years old.
But it's my understanding that the game received a massive update not long before I bought it. So whatever it was when it came out, the current game as it stands is high quality.
The premise is interesting, the characters are engaging, and as with Countess in Crimson, the scenes themselves are an absolute work of art. I mean beautifully detailed, from the textures, to the lighting, to the sounds, with the only drawback being that everything feels too slow. But it's rather easy to ignore when you see just how well made the scenes are overall.
Also massive props to the dev for the generally progressive tone of the game, giving you an option for a gay playthrough. It's not my thing, but the effort to include a gay character with his own scenes as an option that most in the player base likely won't take, shows that this was a genuine effort to make a more inclusive game.
Also props for making the main character black. This is virtually the first adult game in over 2 dozens I've played by now to have a non-white character, although unfortunately, this also indicates that there is still a lot of bigotry in this space.
The amount of people complaining about that in the forums is staggering. You mean to tell me you can immerse yourself into a sci-fi story in which you bang all the hottest chicks with the most unrealistic bodies, but playing as black guy, that's the one thing that breaks the immersion for you? Get over yourself.

Takes 8 hours to 100% this game so not a lot of gameplay. That said, it does feature a few of the hottest women in any adult game so this game aims for quality over quantity. Definitely enjoyable, but could have used more sex scenes/animations

Really interesting story and great graphics. I've played it through twice now to get different storylines and clearly there is even more to explore. That's good value for money.

This game made me a believer in digital seductions. Very smooth animations and good character design.

If youre a big fan of 3D porn, this game is one of the best examples of that. The character designs are pretty good, and the sex scenes are probably good enough to bust to. There’s also a bit of optional gay content, so if you like cut buff dudes with big dicks, youre covered here. At $10 I’d say it’s still a tad expensive but there are a lot of worse games out there.
The h-scenes are pretty much just looped animations, though there’s an orgasm mechanic. The game zones are just static scenes where you click on highlighted items, so pretty uninspired in terms of gameplay. There are some outfit changes but the characters are not really conscious of them.
Overall, reasonably hot, if a bit low effort.

It's ok this is a hard recommend. Skip the mini game they are bugged.

Pro: the women looks hot, the location is traversal, the story is ok. You have to move around to figure out how to complete quests. So very interactive.

Con: The Mini game during sex scenes does not work. The women are never happy with you even if you full the bar to full. Now I am going to have to replay it with the mini game off or see if it can be disabled. Con you don't see your character much while talking to women just a little head in the corner.

Really well made game. The story is interesting and the animations were recently updated, they look superb!
