Petoons Party is a nice little board with mini-games style of game similar to Mario Party. It's okay, there is some fun to be had, I would recommend it to people who have friends or family to play with local multiplayer as the A.I. isn't the most fun to play against. It's alright but nothing beats other human players. Also you NEED controllers so if you don't have any then you're out of luck.
There are 4 game boards each with their own set of mini-games that are exclusive to those boards. The mini-games for the most part are alright, some are very similar to others but with minor tweaks to slightly change them up while all having unique visual looks to them. There's also other game modes, one is cups where you go through a series of mini-games in a specified order and also there's just min-game mode where you can select and play mini-games directly.
Visually I found the game pretty nice looking and the animation of the characters is nice and everything is very colorful and easy on the eyes. Each mini-game even if similar to others looks very different so that's always nice
One thing I noticed was that certain mini-games seemed to go on for a tiny bit too long and feel like they could perhaps be cut shorter to make the game flow a little better but maybe that's just me. I was also not a fan of the boss battles that occur at the end of every board. I tried 3 of the 4 and I disliked all 3.
The gameplay is okay but it needs a bit of work especially the dashing. Something feels slightly off with it and you use dashing in many different mini-games for speed or to push others off edges. I found it hard to land a good hit against an enemy and when using it to quickly get a boost of speed I sometimes wondered if it even did anything at all. I think with some improvements the dash could be better than it currently is.
So who's the game for? I would say probably kids, although they would most likely prefer Mario Party, this is 1/4 the price and can be fun. At the same time kids may find certain aspects a bit frustrating. I think the perfect audience for this may actually be adults who are drunk or baked and laughing it up playing in a local multi-player game against each other.

Competently made Mario Party-like, slightly marred by the wildly varying difficulty levels of mini games
