The game is very well put together save for an annoying tendency for ships to randomly spawn in your path near harbors.

It is such an underrated game. You will have fun after the initial learning period. the hotkey note is at the bottom of the screen when you are in ports. "I" and "M" are the only important UI on the sea and number key 1 is the most frequent key you will press. You may need some practice to use the cannons but skills can save your day. The problem of so many thumb down may be because of the limited weapon you have in the early stage of the game. When you have better ship, better cannon and mostly important better skills, you will find you can pack serious punches to your opponent.

If you like to play on PC a game of pirates, this game is relatively easy to play with a lot of quest ans sea combat. It doesn't need a powerful graphic card since the graphics are 2D.

Managed to lose my save game twice. It's not even showing on the cloud save site.
it's a fun game, sort of mellow in ways, and it is fun and worth the sale price.
but having just lost some 6+ hours of play time (twice) , is annoying. going to look up if the game has backups of old saves somewhere, if I can't find my old game saves, I will be off to play some other games.

love this game! It's like "The Pirates: Caribbean Hunt" on mobile back then minus the first person view.
One complain I have is the game lacks pure black or pure red color theme for sets on higher tiers aside from the pirate king set, which is a mix of red and black and some yellow/gold.
Also it would be better if there are set bonuses. Still a great game tho some what short

It really scratches that itch for a naval battle game. Options to play it more as a travelling merchant ship/smuggler or battle anything that comes your way. Lots of possibilities to upgrade and swap out various parts of your ship. Fun exploration and plenty of side quests to keep you occupied.

King of Seas
Overall I like the game. It is a chill game where I can get on and shot down other ships, loot, and cause some pirate mayhem. It is not a complicated game which is nice, but could use a little more juice imo. Has a bunch of different abilities per ship which most are useful some not so much for me. Again just a nice chill no brain game for fun sake.
