Ignoring all of the bad advertising and controversy, I think this game is actually pretty fun and I enjoy it.
It's very much like a regular Mega Man game but with more emphasis on going fast and having solid movement!

Expectations be damned, I have a freakin' blast every time I fire up this game. The challenge is great, the story is interesting; it's as good to me as Bloodstained is to Castlevania.

Love the mega man style with it's own unique spin! An underrated gem amongst the indie games I've played. Definitely give it a shot if you like the Megaman series and are looking for a VERY underestimated title!

Fun game, level design is a little rough on some parts, but after some annoying deaths, you will get the hang on it.

It's all right, and not terrible as some made out to be. That's probably because people expected a Megaman successor but ended up having an unrelated game inspired by Megaman. The game is okay as it is. Though, due to being an UE3 game, the native Linux version doesn't feel properly optimized despite being 64 bit. It runs okay.

well, the current state of this game is that it's an acceptable mid game, is not amazing, but it's not bad. if you like megaman and see this game on a discount you should give it a try, it might surprise you a bit.

This game is a pretty solid take on the Mega Man formula, and I really enjoyed the dash and combo mechanics. It has its share of rough edges, visually and in some of the level design, but they're minor enough that they don't completely ruin the experience. At its current MSRP ($20), it's a hard recommend since there are much better platformers at or near that price poitn, but I think it's worth picking up on sale. It's a solid 7/10 game with a fun gameplay hook, and it doesn't overstay its welcome; my advice is to not start with the fire level because it's the worst stage in the game.
