----------
Synopsis:
You are an alien that has crashed in the mountains. Your ship is trashed and your end-goal is to get the resources to rebuild it.
----------
Cons:
The graphics are quite limited and there is no background music to take the edge off.
The first few hours are about feeling your way out and trying to figure out how to do thing.
The tutorial is near non-existent as it wants you to go to a secondary site. So you will largely be playing blind.
You may be wondering for hours just trying to find the resources to stabilize yourself in the beginning.
The ending is rather unremarkable, basically once you have the resources and feel like applying them your ship takes off and that's that. Yay, you are winner. End game.
------------
Pros:
The above cons become strength - this is one of those games that really roughs it out, but once everything clicks overcoming that phase becomes very rewarding.
The lack of background music makes the low bird whistles in the background and rustling trees come alive - really emphasizing the notion you are caught in the mountains somewhere.
Getting powers makes things quite fun once you get to that point - in particular possessing humans - though be warned this is the sort of possession where you are projecting from your own body and so it is prone while you are piloting the humans.
You can also clone humans basically just to use as hosts once you get settled.
------------
Advice:
AVOID SHADOW - your alien is not used to Earth's environment, too hot or too cold and you will get hurt - not enough to kill you, but so weak a passing angry picnicer can kill you by shoving you slightly.
Be mindful of time of day and altitude - mountains for example may have resources or allow you to get a better view, but they are only save during mid-day at night they are freezing and in the afternoon they are boiling.
Try not to draw attention to yourself - at least not until you have powers and an arsenal.
Even at max "infamy" I guess you'd call it you can take on the military/ attack helicopters but it takes FOREVER for your "infamy' to go down, so you'll need to camp out to get things back down to 'Leave me alone' level.
Whatever direction you head in, keep track of where your ship is so you can map out in your head how to get back and explore other areas.
Finding Resources is the biggest hurdle at first, where you land at each new game is totally random, and what resources are there or how far way are completely random.

Overall I highly recommend Zibbs - Alien Survival.
It's very slow and frustrating at first, but that makes overcoming it all the more rewarding. It's fairly cheap and obviously was made by someone low on resources but high on vision. Very much the small game that can go beyond it's limits for engagement.
