Your main goal in Animal Shelter will be to look after, treat, and give shelter to those under your care. You will have plenty of work to do with the shelter, which will become a refuge for any creature in need and will certainly help in finding suitable future owners. Keep in mind that the future owner-pet duo must complement each other. Your main goal? Finding a suitable home for your pets!
Take pictures
Who doesn’t love taking pictures of their pets? We provide you with your own photo room, where you can create extraordinary photo sessions. Be creative, play around, and finally use the photos as decorations for the shelter. This will surely attract the attention of new visitors!
Take care of your pets’ well-being
The adoption process is very lengthy and can give your pets a hard time.
Remember to monitor their needs: from hunger and health to willingness to play and love. Special name cards will certainly come in useful. Their job will be to indicate the current needs of your little ones.
Play with them
Remember! An entertained pet is a happy pet! Your pets will spend most of their stay at the facility in comfy boxes, which is why you have to take care of the right amount of daily entertainment and exercise to keep them strong, healthy, and relaxed. Pet them, hand out treats, play with balls or lasers, and they will surely repay you with great trust and a happy muzzle!

A shelter is not only boxes: it is also a whole lot of other buildings. We give you the construction mode: manage, buy new buildings, rearrange the existing ones, expand the area – you are in charge! Remember that everything matters, and the spacing of outlets is no exception. Make your decision with caution. In the end, you will be the one moving around the shelter with your pets.

For a demo, this game really did offer a good amount of content since I was able to play it for a while. It's really engaging, there are lots of things to do with the animals (YOU CAN PET THE KITTENS AND THE DAWGS BTW) like buying furniture/toys, new buildings to further take care of them, etc. I really am considering buying the full version of the game as it's quite literally very addicting (again u can pet the dawg and the cat). There are small bugs or instances where the game freezes but it really isn't game breaking.

A pleasant game reminding what is important in real life.
P.S. If you are thinking about getting a pet, consider adopting from your local animal shelter. Adoption is always the best option!

I've only played the prologue, so keep that in mind and I'll also only be covering the prologue (I haven't played the full game).
The game has neat graphics, I like it. Supposedly more realistic, but with enhanced colors. Which looks interesting and makes the game more colorful.
The gameplay is not difficult, actually enjoyable. You have the option to expand your shelter and buy extras. But some of them are blocked. Remember that you are the only employee in the shelter, so all the work rests on you. From cleaning, to adoption, listing offers and treating animals in your own clinic. It may sound scary, but it's really fun to play. Just right at the end of the day after hard work. And pleasant music keeps you company. It's not great, but it's not bad either.
GAMEPLAY
At the beginning you have two options to choose from and it depends on which animal you will cooperate with first. You can choose between cats and dogs.
Regardless of your choice, the prologue looks the same. At first, you adopt one animal and put it up for adoption after taking care of it. Then you have to do the same with the animals.
After that you need to build an additional building. Depending on the pet, if you chose a cat, you buy a clinic, and if you choose a dog, you buy a car wash. After that, you have to give up two more animals for adoption and then expand the area. Then you need to add an additional building (depending on the animal you choose, the building will be different) and adopt another animal (if you initially chose cats, now you need a dog and vice versa). After adoption, i.e. after taking the new pet out of the car, the Prologue ends.
The game allows you to track your pet's behavior and learn about its personality to better match the pet to people interested in adoption. There is also a taming bar that must be filled in order to list the delinquent as ready for adoption.
While I was playing, I personally felt dissatisfied with the number of tasks. For me, there weren't enough of them and it got boring at times while I was waiting to be notified that someone was interested in adopting. The advantage is that you can pet the cats/dogs in the meantime.
The second time, I simply left the game on for a few minutes and waited for the familiarization bar to fill up.
I have a bit of an impression that the full potential and possibilities of this game have not been used.
You can play the prologue yourself and see if the game will convince you or, like me, you will find that it left you somewhat unsatisfied.

Геймплей не сложный, на самом деле приятный. У вас есть возможность расширить свое убежище и купить дополнительные приспособления. Но некоторые из них заблокированы. Помните, что вы единственный сотрудник приюта, поэтому вся работа лежит на вас. От уборки до усыновления, размещения предложений и лечения животных в вашей собственной клинике. Это может показаться пугающим, но играть в нее действительно весело. Прямо в конце дня после тяжелой работы. А приятная музыка составит вам компанию. Это не здорово, но и не плохо.
ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ
В начале у вас есть два варианта на выбор и это зависит от того, с каким животным вы будете сотрудничать в первую очередь. Вы можете выбирать между кошками и собаками.
Независимо от вашего выбора, пролог выглядит одинаково. Сначала вы берете одно животное и отдаете его на усыновление после того, как о нем позаботитесь. Затем вам придется сделать то же самое с животными.
После этого вам нужно построить дополнительное здание. В зависимости от домашнего животного, если вы выбрали кошку, вы покупаете клинику, а если вы выбираете собаку, вы покупаете автомойку. После этого вам придется отдать на усыновление еще двух животных, а затем расширить территорию. Затем вам нужно добавить дополнительное здание (в зависимости от выбранного вами животного здание будет разным) и взять другое животное (если вы изначально выбрали кошек, то теперь вам нужна собака и наоборот). После усыновления, то есть после того, как нового питомца вытащили из машины, Пролог заканчивается.
Игра позволяет вам отслеживать поведение вашего питомца и узнавать его личность, чтобы лучше сопоставить его с людьми, заинтересованными в его усыновлении. Существует также полоса приручения, которую необходимо заполнить, чтобы правонарушитель был признан готовым к усыновлению.
Пока я играл, лично я чувствовал недовольство количеством заданий. Мне их было недостаточно, и временами мне становилось скучно, пока я ждал уведомления о том, что кто-то заинтересован в усыновлении. Преимущество в том, что вы тем временем можете погладить кошек/собак.
Во второй раз я просто оставил игру включенной на несколько минут и дождался заполнения полоски ознакомления.
У меня такое впечатление, что весь потенциал и возможности этой игры не использованы.
Вы можете сами пройти пролог и посмотреть, убедит ли вас игра, или, как и я, вы обнаружите, что она вас несколько не удовлетворила.

Played the Prologue cause it's free. First thing I had to do was change the FOV and make it window'd because the format is completely unplayable. Can see the entirety of the initial messages. But the biggest issue was this bar at the bottom of the screen that looks like some lost code or something. It starts with "Your shelter has been shut" and the rest is out of screen.
Still, I was able to muscle my way through the tutorial until I needed to build a clinic and then all was lost. That bar on the bottom is covering up what I am is assuming some type of building menu.
I would wish it would be fixed, but since it's been out for a couple years now, I doubt it.
