did stranger things steal this game's idea? anyways, graphics are good.

An absolute masterpiece. Bought this as the first game on my new pc and i was absolutely amazed, the game mechanics were cool and the story was an absolute cinema. 10/10 game if you ask me, hope anyone who reads this will buy it as soon as possible.

Beyond: Two Souls is a Quantic Dream classic, albeit the weakest entry in their last trilogy alongside Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human. Its non-linear storytelling is a definitely a pro: the fragmented timeline adds layers to protagonist Jodie’s journey and keeps the player engaged through its emotion shifts.
However, the illusion of choice is where the game lacks. Despite being marketed as a narrative-driven experience, most decisions have limited impact, often affecting only minor dialogue lines or secondary character outcomes. The plot, even though starts reallt promising and is based on a very good concept, largely plays out the same regardless of your input.
The biggest letdown is the ending, after hours of strong, emotionally charged storytelling, it fizzles out with underwhelming animation and barely a nod to the broader cast or earlier consequences.
Overall, Beyond: Two Souls is worth a play if picked up at a low price. It’s a good story with cinematic flair, but lacks the narrative punch and payoff of Quantic Dream's stronger titles.
