Remothered: Tormented Fathers is the pure and realistic survival horror videogame. A game by Darril Arts, directed by Chris Darril, developed by Stormind Games. Psychology plays a huge role within the game: heroes and enemies are atypical and the line between good and evil is blurred. The plot is rich of unpredictable twists, but it is touching at the same time. The development of the game is similar to that of a film narration, where the player perfectly identifies himself with the character. The soundtrack, composed by Nobuko Toda (Final Fantasy, Halo, Metal Gear Solid) and Luca Balboni, enhances the terrifying atmosphere of the game.

Very short, but enjoyable with a good, horror story.
I love anything and everything horror, and this game was no exception. It's very short, but the story itself is intriguing, and had me wanting more. It's got a dark tint over the game, that just gives it that eerie atmosphere that I want when playing horror games. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone, but be prepared, that it can easily be done in about 4-5 hours.

Positive surprise. Nice old school survival horror style game like clock tower etc.. you need to hide from enemies and lot of puzzles/item searching and backtracking and difficulty is nicely challenging sometimes but nothing bad.
- STORY
- Story is surprisingly good and very interesting of this type of indie game, especially if you collect all collectibles and read them and characters are very interesting too.
- ATMOSPHERE
Nice and creepy, big old stone mansion and sometimes got nicely anxious feeling when wandering on the mansion and enemy is moving somewhere close or coming closer and see you.
- GAMEPLAY
Old school style puzzles and inventory where you need to select item before you can use it like many old horror games, it`s nice makes tension and anxious feeling because you can`t use items very fast to object. I mostly don`t like much QTE events but in this game they are very nice addition on the game because you only need to use your mouse buttons and you got time to react a lot so not some frustrating random keys in keyboard in the style of press J and then Z very fast of QTE.
-DIFFICULTY (little bit longer because some players say it`s too hard)
Game not very hard but nicely challenging, i maybe died only ten times and never use any distraction/diversion or defense items except at the very end of the game in the attic where space is not much and enemies always close. Mansion is full of those distraction items and throwing it you can freeze enemy short amount of time and if it grabs you, you can free yourself with defense item and those both items are very often to find and if you get being chased some hiding spots always success to lose enemy and you don´t die easily if taking damage. Mansion is very easy to navigate especially if you beginning of the game explore mansion through when there not yet any danger.
- Some players whining about game saves, but game saving opportunities are a lot, you can almost every time example when you find an item sneak to one of the save mirrors and manually save and in the game end levels game auto saves very very often, so if you don't like very difficult games, don't worry this not super hard to play through.
- SUMMARY
I can recommend it very good horror experience and it`s easy if you know how to play and remember floor layouts and don`t rush take your time when try to avoid enemies, maybe i do not recommend if you are rush style gamer and are used to run game fast through and quick saving all the time without problems and you're used to easy games and don`t like slower/patience requiring or harder games.
Not masterpiece but really entertaining and very interesting horror story with nice anxious feeling constantly and interesting characters. so easily 8/10 on this.

Please read the notes, you'll get mad over not understanding the story and probably hate this. But yea its still pretty good, its jank in some spots but isn't unplayable, Vibes are good and feels like a classic survival horror style game like clock tower, Pick it up on sale if you are unsure or dont like spending $20 on a game it'll take a few hours to beat

Remothered: Tormented Fathers has an intriguing story and some memorable characters — I really liked Gloria and Mr. Felton. That said, the gameplay leans heavily on constant hide-and-seek, which gets more annoying than scary after a while. The voice acting for the main character felt pretty underwhelming and didn’t help with immersion.
Thank God for the checkpoints in the final chapter — without them, I probably would’ve rage quit.
A bit of gameplay spoiler: if you’re aiming to get all achievements in one run, keep an eye out for the "Mirror Breaker" achievement. There’s a guide for it, and trust me — you’ll want to follow it unless you’re ready to replay the game.
