Thrillville™: Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: “WHOA!” Players build these incredible “WHOA Coasters” to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through a burning ring of fire and more.
But the new fun doesn’t stop there. Off the Rails features 34 playable multiplayer minigames, 15 all-new theme areas, over 40 thrill rides, a new story that ties together more than 100 missions, and social interaction with park guests that’s better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park. But is every guest to be trusted?
- Experience the visceral fun of interacting with a theme park you create.
- Build and ride your own creations, talk and joke with all your guests, and play dozens of minigames.
- Visit 15 themed areas, like Battleville, Winterville, Spaceville and Aeroville, all spread throughout five new parks.
- Create 20 death-defying WHOA Coasters such as:
- Hotrod Stunt – A nitro boost propels a car across a broken track.
- Pendulizer – A giant arm grabs the car just before a gap in the track, whips it around in a full circle, then sets it down on the other side.
- Escape Drop – The track holds the car stationary as it lifts itself from level ground to a full 90-degree drop. Then it lets go.
- Distinguish your rides even more with enhanced customization options. Attach animatronics, flowers and flaming hoops to all of your coasters and rides.
- Play 34 minigames – 14 new, 20 returning from the original Thrillville but with new levels.

If you're worried that it's outdated compared to Planet Coaster and others in the genre, the answer is both yes, and no. The minigames make it worth it alone. You will have so much fun running around trying out all the activities the game has to offer. Even the food stalls are a minigame. The fact that there are about over 50 minigames in as many genres as there are and MOST of them are at least decent is pretty impressive. The Bandito Chinchilla beat 'em is almost a whole small indie game on its own. Thrillville to me felt closer to something like Yakuza more than it did a tycoon game.
It's really good.

Thrillville: Off the Rails is pure nostalgia for me, I played it a ton back when I was a kid. Building crazy coasters and messing around with the mini-games is still just as fun. Playing it again on PC is great and honestly brings back so many memories. It’s goofy, simple, and just a good time.

Used to play this game on the Wii around 13 years ago. Glad to see the PC port runs smoothly and is still as fun. This game has aged really well!

Years ago I Thrillville (The game before this one) as a Christmas present. I have so many fond memories of that game. This really took me back down memory lane and reignited the little kid in me. It truly is a fun game with many fun mechanics to dive into.

Love this game, works alright on Linux. wish they'd make a true successor to this game. a slightly larger game with a higher cap to build with. maybe add mascots, security, and a handful of things from both scream ride, and planet coaster. Like dont want to do the terraforming and 3d work to build an on point on theme park in planet coaster i aint got time for that. just give me a number of premade worlds, let me populate them with a simple theme editor on the stalls and rides and booths, and give me the ability to interact with the park guests and play the minigames. but Its been 20 years since this came out so i doubt we'll ever get a new one. but i love this game i beaten it a number of times over its a great party game too.
