Why do coomer games have some of the best stories?
Seriously, if you like courtly intrigue, medieval war stories, heart of darkness stuff, and some saucy fantasy adventure, all while playing a man literally too busy to die, play this game.
Some spelling and grammar errors, but those are stretched out over easily a 40-hour read.
Lots of NTR as other people have warned.
If there's anything I could recommend to the devs, it's to have costs for things displayed on choices. The players can be left in the dark about corruption, but it's not great to have to guess on how much gold, prisoners, troops, etc an option will cost.
Have consequences for going into negatives on your funds. They don't even have to be all bad! Maybe Cla-Min spots you for a loan, or even for free if you've built trust with her. Maybe troop morale starts plummeting. Maybe Skordred takes his hammer to your kneecaps. There could be plenty of options.

40 hours into the game, it updates and now have to restart to square one. Haven't conquered the major city yet and just got the a major orcish tribe on our side. It's okay wanted to do another run anyway with different choices.
But I'm not waiting another few weeks to write this review of the game so here we go! The game is still hugely a work in progress so not much to review yet, but I'll review what I seen so far. Change this when the game is finished and/or when I see an ending.
Still 40 hours down the drain. So much ouch. But here's why it's so much ouch.
So Seeds of Chaos! And you will be spreading plenty of this 'seed' if you know what I mean depending on your life choices in this game. It's a visual novel with a 'choose your own adventure' feature and some light game elements. The story is about a couple living peacefully in a village till it was attacked by orcs and a duo of half-demons. Your two main protags is a male war veteran and hero who's well know in his homeland and his wife a simple village girl who knows nothing else but small town life and how to be a housewife. Typical for the time period really in pre-gunpowder Europe. Back to the story they are kidnapped by brother and sister demons who want to use the husband as their general, government advisor and steward in their plans to well conquer the known fantasy world. Following in their dead demon dad's footsteps and such.
The Twins, as the game calls them, have a Pinkie and the Brain dynamic. One is a genius and the other insane! The sister is the brains behind the operation and pretty much the queen bitch of the universe. Don't get me wrong she is a fiendishly lovable character. Vary lovable. And there's her brother who's just a violent brute and typical sociopath which is normal for a demon. And you got everyone else in your new dark empire. Like the chaos dwarf who's frustrated about his career path. The elven mage 'studying' your guy for magic potential. A futa succubus who loves joining in on your protag's lovemaking. A vary gay femboy dark elf or drow who handles your animals. A Minotaur blacksmith who's the most wholesome character of this forming empire. And last but not least the mother goblin running a caravan company who has the hots for your guy protag. Even her whole family wants to smash him too and half of them do if you choose. She's a crowd favorite and I vary see why. Wait till you see the scene with the twin goblin sisters. XD
As said before, this game is a 'choose your own adventure' where your choices really do matter vary much and does effect later events in the game. Won't spoil any of this but I am serious that your choices vary matter in this game. And the choices are of moral context and will be brutal no matter the choices. It's like Frostpunk but without the fight against General Winter. Instead it's a fight against Admiral Corruption. You can try to be as Jedi as possible in the hands of corrupt forces, or succumb to the will of The Twins and be a full on Sith lord doing vary dark deeds. And these deeds are not juvenile fantasy bad. They are adult real world bad. Example offering up women to orc gang bangs is just starters. After my first but canceled playthrough, feel like I should be on death row for war crimes. And I did a few good deeds or tried. XD
This game I came for the hentai scenes and storytelling but stayed for the story. The story is good. Vary good even mixing sex into storytelling and not making this obvious porn. This is NOT a porn game as it does vary tell a meaningful story. Definition of pornography is material made for sexual arousal and nothing more. And yes you could just play this for the porn, but that'd be moronic when there is much more here. At first I was riffing the story like Rifftrax or MST3K, but later went really quiet and just want to read more. Again, the story is vary well written and I don't say this lightly. Not like stories written by someone who just want to sound smart or obviously tailored, the story here was written with real care of where words go and to what meaning and end. Every word here is sacred and that's a good trope for any serious writer. But this is for the non-hentai scenes. The hentai scenes might as well be written by a horny teenager with little knowledge of the human anatomy and sexuality other than street slang. Ouch but this is honest criticism. And come on can google female and male reproduction anatomy and even sexology terms. And that's not porn. it's SCIENCE DAMN IT!
Of course some say the story is all badly written but pfft so art is subjective as the golden art rule goes. Can't please everyone.
Don't know how much characters I have left but give this game a look! The story is good and the H content is well made too. That's my review of Seeds of Chaos! Bu-bye!
...I'd totally would give the goblin MILF more kids too. XD

I came for the adult scenes, but the story hooked me and kept me engaged.
With my overall experience in NSFW games, I can confidently say this is one of the best games that could have been made in this genre. It has a very deep and powerful story, and the characters are well-developed.
The NTR is presented in the most beautiful way possible.
The biggest weakness of the game might be that, with the speed of development, it may never have a proper ending.
After years, even Act 1 isn't fully completed, and the developers are still focused on Act 1. This is the game's biggest flaw.

First impression: Mostly good but an egregious bad.
The art is amazing and the story seems promising. The writing is...it has problems. Missed words are peppered throughout, and in one case an entire missed sentence is knowable only by the response you get from someone else.
The writing switches between present and past tense willy-nilly, which is very annoying. "With her lips now wrapped..., Rowan moved" If it's wrapped now, Rowan hasn't "moved," he currently "moves."
And it's clear that the writer has good diction and an understanding of basic grammar; at least, they understand enough grammar to avoid putting a preposition at the end of a sentence ("On her knees, in a position in which she felt powerless, all Alexia..."). This would be better written simply as "On her knees, powerless, all Alexia..." Brevity is the soul of wit - make the sentence shorter, less complex, and get across the same meaning. If she IS powerless, she'll feel powerless; you don't need to say she feels what she is, we'll know.
I mean, *technically* you could do away with powerless altogether because we, the readers, already know that someone on their knees is probably powerless.
Or if you're a bratty bottom, maybe you have all the power on your knees?
I suppose most won't notice or care about grammar or writing. I only care because, with larger diction and more complex syntax, the writing suggests that the author *can* write well or at least *wants to appear* as if they can write well.
So, if the devs do read this - ya'll wanna hire an editor? I know it's early access, but this is some basic stuff for what's completed. And I encountered this stuff in the first 10 minutes of the game. We can pump these rookie numbers right up.

Feel compelled to write a review for this game given some of the negative comments that have nothing to do with the actual game- in short, it's a good f'ing game.
In it's current state, the game is absolutely worth the asking price, regardless of what the original road map was- makes me wonder if any of the negative reviewers have ever actually coded or even just attempted to draw something approaching the quality of this game.
Thanks to the early backers of this game, and thanks to the developer who keeps working on it- funny how all of the reviews complaining about delays are always followed by a major update. Keep up the good work.

I've got a lot to say about this game. It's definitely a very good VN with meaningful choices, has great characters, a good story so far, a refreshing artstyle and an insane amount of H-scenes.
The exploration/RPG part of the game is...fine I guess. Doesn't feel great but also doesn't bother me.
What does bother me significantly is the management part. It's both overly complex and pretty lame and just doesn't feel on par with the rest of the game. It's also where the game shows it's early access the most.
Speaking of early access - from what I've seen the developers are still delivering updates and new content (which is great) but I've also read that some of those patches will break your safe games...and for a game that has such a heavy emphasis on meaningful decisions and takes so long, that's kind of bad. Yes, early access, I know, but it's been in EA for quite a while now and I'd kinda prefer if they would just finish the game as-is and then add new content as DLC.
If the game actually makes it to full completion and they fix the biggest issues, it'll easily be one of the best VN style games of all times. "If"...
