I just want to go over the problems first before I dive into the positives.
The animation sucks, there is no animation, some reviews said good animation, they lied, I don't think people know what the word animation means.
Most of the game, like 95% of it is reading dialogue and text, and they do that stupid visual novel thing where you have the same background and they same character sprites that barely move. And while the music is good it gets repetitive fast given the nature of the game since every scene is like a 10-20 minute reading session.
And when I say there is a lot of text, I mean, I'll probably finish reading like the entire harry potter book series before i'll beat 20% of the game.
it's been 30 hours, and the game is still kind setting things up, like wtf. The pacing is SLOW. I consider myself an avid reader, but damn, this game is taking a toll on my reading stamina which never really happens...
Another problem is that lewd scenes usually only have like 1-2 pictures and a ton of text, soooo again, the graphics department and the animation department are non-existent even though some of the reviews and game description will want you to think otherwise. So just keep that in mind going into this game.
It's actually kinda annoying how bad some of the sex scenes are. And by bad, I mean they have like 1 or 2 sometimes decent pictures and then a lot of text, but I wish they had more pictures showing you what the text is describing. I played some hentai games before and they usually have 3-4 pictures, this game only has 1-2 pictures per lewd scene.
BUT
there is a BUT
Some of the lewd scenes are 10/10 and are very erotic but they are rare and I'm usually not in the mood by the time I get them. But to be fair, there is a huge quantity of lewd events. So much so, that I don't even care about getting them anymore.
I love the dynamic between some of the character. Like protecting my elf girl Liurial from the demons, I'm pretty sure I care more about her than my wife at this point lol. And god knows we all love Helayna. And I HATE Jezera, I can't WAIT to betray her.
And that brings me to the positives, the story is so damn good and unique, I've never experienced anything like it. But I think where the game REALLY SHINES and why you should play it, is how much options you get and how every decision you make feels consequential. Like they did such a damn good job in this aspect. The amount of branching stories that are super well developed is INSANE.
You really do get a lot of control over who you ♥♥♥♥ and who you ♥♥♥♥ over and you need to be really careful with what you say and do, it can backfire spectacularly if you are not careful. I've been living with my bad decisions for the most part because I don't feel like reloading, and the game does a great job of handling bad decisions, and sometimes allows you to course correct. Like I accidently let my wife f^ck one of the demons once, and for the most part, I kept her pure after that f up.
And that's crazy to me, I don't know how they did that, the sheer amount of paths you can take is insane and they are so well fleshed out. I swear, this game feels like it's at least 100k pages of text which is both its strength and its weakness. Prepare to read A LOT, non stop, for like 100 hours or more, and make super hard decisions. The decisions don't get easier, they get harder and harder and more f'ed up. Like I have to deicide if I enslave a village, or burn it, or spy on it, or whatever.
it's very easy to retain your purity in the beginning, but damn this game slowly corrupts you. At first you feel bad killing an old man, but 30 hours in, you are deciding how many sex slaves to give to your orcs for their pleasure to boost morale. It happens so subtly you don't even notice it. I try to be good, I really do, but then Jezera comes in and offers me a concubine, and I'm like, do I say no to that? No, I'll take the concubine, thanks Jezera, you are not so bad after all. If I didn't take the concubine, they would give her to the troops anyways, and that's WAY worse.
At first like I'm, hell no my wife is not going near the demons, but 10 hours in, I'm like, do I actually care? And I start to enjoy my position as overlord, do I actually want to stop building my empire after I get rid of the Twin demons? And hell yes I want to betray them. (though I still have not gotten the opportunity to do so...)
And after your 4th concubine, do I really need another one? No not really, send her to the orks or the brothel or whatever, I don't care. Human lives are just numbers on a paper.
I was so protective of Helayna and Liural and I still am, they are my best girls, they serve me so well, I really don't need the other girls. I don't even remember what my wife is doing, I put her in the library somewhere to study magic, whatever. I will f*ck the other girls if the opportunity presents itself. Like who can say no to Shana the girl who runs the brothel, or that sexy librarian mage. And yes, you can easily skip a lot of scenes that aren't your cup of tea, very easy to nope out of bad situation, like I really don't care about that stupid twink dark elf Draith that game keeps trying to make me have sex with.
Anyways, I'm 33 weeks in, it's been like 30 hours, and damn the story feels like it's only 10-20% done, I'm actually scared to think how much more reading I'll need to do, but the story is good enough where I don't mind reading some more. I'm still on Act 1 and there is no end in sight.
So yeah maybe the game is unfinished, (according to ppl) but are you really going to get to the end? Probably not.

also want to add, this game has a lot of tempting options, but it's not always a good idea to take them, I love that. I've also read that some people are struggling with the difficulty and keep dying, I dunno, I'm on my first playthrough and I'm crushing it. Everyone of value loves me and mistress Jezera loves me and her retarded twin respects me it seems. So feels good to be a successful overlord.

took me about 100 hours to finish act 1, pretty good finale, but from what I gather they haven't even started act 2. I'd still reconmmend this game though. I do wish it was a bit shorter and got to act 2, I think the devs were a bit overly ambitious, but I guess this is their passon project.

best fantasy smut I've seen since Corruption of Champions (CoC). Play at your own risk current ETA for game having all 3 acts completed is 2030

Probably my second favorite H game on steam
Pros
- Ton of Scenes
- Great Animations
- Great Art
- Lots of pretty decent dialogue
- A pretty dark story
- A mildly engaging story, top-tier for a H game
Cons
- Gameplay is repetitive and kinda boring

Probably one of the best and longest stories with so many branches based on choices games I have ever played. This game has the best NTR content I have ever seen as well. The wife of the MC is the absolute best and corruptable choices are vast.

This game has very limited animations, but the art and story are great.

I'd love to see more games like this in the future from this crew with more animations.

Short version: If you've found yourself thinking "I love NSFW games but I wish I wasn't forced to be straight" and also like themes of corruption this is probably for you.
I'll divide up my full review into a couple sections.
Quick Note:
- I've been playing on Steam Deck. There aren't controller controls, but the trackpad has worked fine for this game. Controller support would be nice to have.
- At time of review I've just finished the first major quest. I don't know how long the full game is yet, but so far I've been satisfied with how much content there is.
Overworld map:
- This is the least interesting part of the game for me, but it also is only a small part of the game so I won't complain. I'm early on so this could change as I get more areas to explore.
Castle Management:
- It's fine. Nothing to write home about, but also doesn't get in the way of the rest of the game. I do like that the unlocks matter in terms of who you unlock and what stories you can progress.
Visual Novel:
- Unsurprisingly the meat of the game, and thankfully very well done. The characters are unique and likeable. The overall story isn't super interesting for me but it allows for some fun character growth which is great.
- Choices actually do matter. They don't come up super often, but each choice directly drives the scene after it. They're usually clearly "Sex? Yes/No" which personally I like, it allows you to progress relationships where you want and only see content you're interested in.
- There's no back button, unlike some similar games. This is more a quality of life thing for me, sometimes I misclick through text and don't have a way to go back and read it.
Sex:
- The art is wonderful. I do wish there were more animated scenes.
- There's not really sound/voices. I'm not sure if that's something to be added later, hopefully it is! Not necessarily voiced dialogue, but just sexy sounds in general.
- There's a lot of variety!! This is the biggest thing for me. Your character can be bisexual if you want, he can have sex outside his marriage if you want (and those options can be removed for those who don't want to see that at all).
- Critically, the time between different scenes is well paced when you're in the regular flow of the game. They aren't all back to back, but not so far apart that you lose interest in your play session.

After playing the game as long as I have. I've decided to reluctantly change my review to a thumbs up.
I only did this as a result of realizing that the language had not been translated properly (or written properly) which caused a lot of issues and wasted time on completing quests that were already completed but just not updated in the weekly review section. An example is completing the goblin quest and having it taken off the list in the main hall but still active on the weekly quest review. Another issue that occurs is the fact that timelines are not given properly. An example of this is taking the main city. You are given X amount of weeks to complete the quest instead of it saying you have X amount of weeks before the quest begins. People who do not realize this can and will waste a lot of time and get frustrated over the minor issues by thinking they are missing something instead of moving on to other quests or exploring the area to get XP.
Another issue, is the game now stops running or completely shuts down very frequently after the last update. A lot of scenes are now blank with just wording, and there are not a lot of options during the intimate scenes.
There are parts of the game that work really well and the overall storyline is good the graphics are ok.
I have played and will play again to try other situations but at this point I don't think my opinion of the game will get any better.

9/10 game - 6/10 execution (explained below)
The Good:
LARGE gallery with a variety of different characters. Loads of different situations that's bound to satisfy most people who partake.
Entertaining Plot (unfinished)
Re-playablility for branching options
Unique mechanics/gameplay I haven't seen for many other NSFW games.
The Bad:
UNFINSHED - Huge emphasis on unfinished. The final quest of the game currently goes incomplete and puts you at a dead of just repeating nothingness. Additionally there are many end game scenes that they haven't loaded images for so it's just black screens with text along the bottom describing a scene you dont' get to see.
Lack of truly animated scenes - Lots of images but the animations are just "flip page" animation.
Despite it's unpolished nature I have truly enjoyed the game. I would recommend buying this on sale or waiting until they perfect the late game.
