Indebted to the wrong people, with his life on the line, veteran of the U.S. Cavalry and now hired gun, Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret.Key Features
- The City in the Sky – Leave the depths of Rapture to soar among the clouds of Columbia. A technological marvel, the flying city is a beautiful and vibrant world that holds a very dark secret.
- Unlikely Mission – Set in 1912, hired gun Booker DeWitt must rescue a mysterious girl from the sky-city of Columbia or never leave it alive.
- Whip, Zip, and Kill – Turn the city’s Sky-Lines into weaponized roller coasters as you zip through the flying city and dish out fatal hands-on punishment.
- Tear Through Time – Open Tears in time and space to shape the battlefield and turn the tide in combat by pulling weapons, turrets, and other resources out of thin air.
- Vigorous Powers – Throw explosive fireballs, shoot lightning, and release murders of crows as devastatingly powerful Vigors surge through your body to be unleashed against all that oppose you.
- Custom Combat Experience – With deadly weapons in one hand, powerful Vigors in the other, and the ability to open Tears in time and space, fight your own way through the floating city of Columbia to rescue Elizabeth and reach freedom.
- 1999 Mode – Upon finishing BioShock Infinite, the player can unlock a game mode called “1999 Mode” that gives experienced players a taste of the kind of design and balance that hardcore gamers enjoyed back in the 20th century.

A game has never left such a profound impression on me, the story is the most thought provoking and interesting video game stories I think I've ever encountered. It gives hints of the original games while still being fresh and different, allowing players that are new to the series to enjoy a Bioshock game without having to understand the origins, and the scenery is nothing short of breath taking. I don't think anyone has done a companion NPC as good as Elizabeth since this game. She feels profoundly real, she doesn't repeat the same tired voice lines (in fact she never repeats a single one) or get stuck on scenery, she comments on the world around her, and interacts with the playable character as if she's her own person, it's truly an excellent portrayal of an NPC. This game isn't just a game, it's a thought provoking story told in the most beautiful and tragic way. A truly phenomenal game <3

Review of BioShock Infinite: A Journey Beyond Reality!
BioShock Infinite is not just a first-person shooter; it’s a philosophical parable, a political satire, and an emotional story of redemption, all wrapped in an incredibly beautiful package.
Story and Atmosphere:
The game transports us to the year 1912, into the flying city of Columbia — an idealistic utopia built on patriotism, religious fanaticism, and blind belief in exceptionalism.
At first glance, Columbia is an architectural marvel, a celebration of art and technology. But beneath its shining facade lurk racism, social inequality, and cruelty.
We play as Booker DeWitt, a man with a heavy past who ventures into this city to find a girl named Elizabeth. However, the deeper you get, the clearer it becomes: nothing is as simple as it seems.
The plot constantly throws unexpected twists, challenging players to think about themes like choice and predestination, personal responsibility, guilt, and redemption. The ending leaves a profound emotional impact and stays with you long after the credits roll.
Gameplay:
At its core, the game is a dynamic shooter with elements of superpowers ("Vigors") that allow you to set enemies on fire, levitate them, or hurl objects with telekinesis. The controls are tight and responsive, and the combat is intense — especially thanks to the sky-line system that lets you zip around during battles.
The game masterfully balances combat, exploration, and dialogue. The pacing is expertly tuned: it lets you soak in Columbia’s atmosphere, then throws you into tense battles, and then slows down again for more introspective exploration.
Elizabeth:
Elizabeth is one of the best companions ever created in video games. She is independent, never gets in the way, actively helps in battles (by throwing ammo, health packs, and money), and truly brings the world to life. Her character development, charm, and voice acting make her feel like a real person, not just a quest objective.
Graphics and Sound:
Columbia is breathtaking. The color palette is bright, sunny, and almost fairy-tale-like at times. The attention to detail is astonishing: you can spend hours admiring the architecture, signs, posters, and citizens' outfits.
The soundtrack deserves special praise. The game cleverly blends covers of popular songs into the early 20th-century style, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar and unsettling.
Flaws:
The game isn’t perfect. Some battles towards the end can feel repetitive, and the abundance of combat sometimes disrupts the contemplative tone of the exploration.
Also, not everyone will appreciate the abundance of story mysteries and the need to piece together certain plot points — especially toward the finale.
Conclusion:
BioShock Infinite is more than just a game. It is a work of art that evokes emotions, asks profound questions, and leaves a lasting mark on the heart.
It combines everything the video game medium can offer at its best: interactivity, storytelling, artistic expression, and emotional power.
Score: 9.5/10
Highly recommended for anyone who values deep stories and unforgettable worlds.

One of THE BEST single player story games I have ever played. You don't even need to play the other Bioshock games to enjoy this one.

Wonderful game, everything is beautiful in it and if you're oldschool bioshock fan or had liked since the classic bioshock 1 & 2, you will enjoy this of course even if the story and game is too different
That's Columbia a giant city than Rapture and it takes years before events of Bioshock 1
those are people who enjoyed it and others not, but up to you and it just depends of your taste and how long you will enjoy the game in general,
i highly recommend it and the game is very great, worth playing so buy it, does worth many penny no matter how
10/10 Best game of year still in the days of today.
P.S: lol pathetic idiots giving me jester reward because has no argument, just get a life and deal with it.
