The game is really fun, has great visuals, but it still is simple enough for a kid to master it (my 5th grade students beat my ass using Super Broly)

I spent most of my hours playing offline with the bot difficulty at max, had alot of fun. I then decide to play online, i did not have fun.

the game itself is probably more active than the Sparking community tbh

I was jumpscared by the announcement during EVO and felt the need to comeback here and reinstall the game. Thank you whoever made that wish to the Dragonballs, this is legit the best tag fighter to be playing right now woop woop.

Needs full linux support with eac or at least have it so proton GE can always have support for it instead but besides that its a good game

Played this a ton on console (300+ hours) and decided to repurchase it on PC. The animations are slick, the combat is addicting, and the different amount of team comps you can have add alot of depth to the gameplay. If you're a fan of fighting games, you'll most likely like this game alot.
My main criticisms are the campaign, tutorials, and single-player content in general is lacking. There's not really a whole lot to do in the game and while the campaign does have alot of fun easter eggs, the stilted dialogue, map traversal, and cutscene direction (and lack thereof) came across as tedious and lack-of-budget. The arcade and side activities, like the dojo that was added in via post-launch updates, are also lacking to me since there's just not alot there. The main draw of the game is online and while I do think the devs nailed that, I wish those who prefer single-player content would have had a bit more to do.
That said, I've played a ton online on console and I played around 100-150 matches on pc at the time of this review. It's still great and I still highly recommend this game. 9.0/10.
