This game is often compared to Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. It deserves to be, you should buy it and play it. It's very very good. Also, you can sharpen up for the new one... check it out its supposed to be out in Early 2025!

Good if you are casual, bad if you are a Fatal Fury hardcore fan.
If you are here, then you are a connoisseur of fighting games, so I don't need to tell you why MoW is one of the best fighting games of late 90's and early 00's. If you are casual, and don't want to play anothers, then yes, this is a good option to have MoW. The port is fine, easy to use and the game goes well. You can have a good taste this game in their story modes and you have the practice mode, a primitive one, but a practice mode. On the other hand, if you want to play another people, then this is not for you. The multiplayer is already dead (so I can't have an opinion about the netcode, since I didn't find any match), unless you have a friend to play with, you won't find anyone. Just skip this port and go to the fightcades.
Perhaps the barren land that this port is should be enough to don't recomend it. But i want to casual players to find and try this amazing and historic fighting game. So I put thumbs up for casuals and people that want to discover this game (you'll enjoy it). But more competitive people should go to fightcades.

O jogo é incrível! Suas mecânicas, a pixel art e sua trilha sonora demonstram o carinho, dedicação e esforço que a SNK manteve para conseguir alcançar tamanha evolução.
Ele é um jogo que você consegue dominar o básico relativamente bem fácil, mas as suas mecânicas mais avançadas você pode depenar um pouco pra conseguir dominá-las, espere muita tentativa e erro no Online!
Enfim, Garou, o jogo de luta da minha vida. Thank you SNK.

Owned this game for a while. I play all fighting games. Ever since I was little my favorite genre of video game has been fighting (all sub genres included) KOF/Fatal Fury has always been a tough nut for me to crack. With this game it finally clicked. I see what SNK was going for! Small but subtle differences make this game flow differently from street fighter. Makes me excited for City of the Wolves. Great fighting game if you like 3rd strike or KOF but want something that feels a little different. And for the price on steam its a steal for the amount of content inside.

I'm not closely familiar with SNK and 2D fighting games in general, so I don't know whether people consider it great or underrated or whatnot. All I know is that it's fun and that's all I care about. Terry is now my spirit animal.
