Overall, I would say that this game was good, not great. Being the 12th Lego game that I've replayed this year (and despite my constant love for Ninjago as a TV show) this one doesn't quite hold a candle to a lot of the other games in the TT/Lego Franchise.
That being said, I would be a liar if I said I had no fun at all playing this one. The character roster is great, the dojos are super fun to go through, and while the levels are relatively short, they're good for what they are. I think I honestly just wish that they based this game off of the TV show instead of making references to it. The show (in my opinion) has much more depth, nuance, and cool worldbuilding than the movie had/could ever have. Despite all of that, some of Garmadon's lines did make me actually laugh out loud as I played this.
All in all, I would say to pick this one up at a discounted if you're a completionist (like me) or a superfan of the Ninjago series. Otherwise, I would to say to spend your hard earned cash on a better Lego game :D

Pretty good Lego game, especially if youre looking for a collectathon type of game. Did have long tutorials. I loved the mecha part in the beginning it was satisfying to play. Hence the Epilogue was my favorite level. The chain moves were entertaining and helped keep it fresh with characters having different moves/weapons. Couldn't hurt to watch the movie before or post game some story parts are skipped over. Pretty decent lesson to be learn for the younger gamers. Apparently it has co-op which was neat to learn about. Played fine on the steam deck. Achievement wise it was nice not to replay every level like most Lego games. I thought the races would be the hardest but nope pretty do able thankfully. The challenge Dojos are quick and not grindy. A big buy if you can afford to buy the lego bundle during any sales. 100% under 25 hours

AS I played this game, one thing was clear. SPINjitzu is throwable. While playing this game I enjoyed it, but It was PEAK trash. This is 100% the worst best game ever. It feels like a gormet meal thats been left out too long. I would very much recommend this game. it is a experiance.

Now that I have 100% completed the game (and in under 24 hours), I feel like I should make a review to anybody willing to sit down and spend an entire day trying to beat this very annoying game.
I am also going to mention that after you have completed the game there seems to be a very bad crashing issue, make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date and enable v-sync.
The story is absolutely great and a very enjoyable one, I personally do not watch Ninjago but this game was a blast however trying to 100% it was a different story, this game is very tedious and at points you have to look up tutorials on how to get certain ones which can be a pest.
If you are going to try then I wish you good luck, you have been warned. >:)

Its different kind of LEGO game. And like it says in title, its LEGO Ninjago MOVIE. Its from the movie. Not the real ninjago stuff, which i grew with. I really wish there was lego game on PC about the older Ninjago stuff. Something in Ninjago was just.... so beautiful. Chima and Ninjago were easily my favorite LEGO stuff. And definely my childhood.
But the gameplay itself is fun, its alot combat. The open world/free roam system in this game is not so open like in other LEGO games, but its still okay!
