Take on the role of an engineer and work towards a green future. Your goal is to build self-sufficient power grids for towns and cities and cut out dependence on fossil fuels. Evaluate the unique needs of the local area and design solutions making best use of the elements around you.
ITERATIVELY BUILD & TEST POWER GRID DESIGNS
- Use a range of energy technologies like solar, wind and hydroelectric power
- Balance budget, efficiency, and environmental impact
- Run simulations and evaluate the results to determine your next steps
- Compete with the community via in-game leaderboards to build the best designs
ADAPT TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT
- Build infrastructure which functions in different weather patterns and climate
- Store energy in battery farms to avoid power cuts when the sun or wind aren’t available
- Use transformers to convert between hi and lo-voltage

Have to say that this game is not only fun and challenging at times but also extremely educational. I have recently started a job in the energy industry and it has given me a better understanding of the energy transmission system and how it is operated.

Concept 4/5
I love the idea behind the game
Graphics 2/5
Graphics aren't that relevant in this game, yet a bit more effort in terms of more buildings etc. would have been nice
Challenge 3/5
The puzzles are relatively easy to solve but the challenge is to get them as efficient as possible.
Mechanics 2/5
I get the puzzle concept behind it. So limited connection options etc. are a must.
Yet I think a LOT of potential has been wasted here.
GUI 1/5
The UI is horrible and not intuitive.
Duration 1/5
50 Levels. If you rush through, about 2h worth of playtime until you've seen everything.
Replayability 2/5
If you're a 100% completionist. Not worth it imo.
Price 3/5
I got 2h of solid gameplay out of it. 2,50 per hour is okayish.
Tl;dr:
It's okay if you're bored and the game is on sale. Don't expect too much.
During the review I changed my mind whether I give a positive or negative about 10 times. It's hard to decide.
I'll give it a positive, since I have hope for further updates.

Level 50 in four hours so it is not a long game, but well worth the price as long is it is on sale. Thoroughly enjoyed the logic challenges :)

The game is fun, currently playing only on steam deck, where I've found some issues with saves. It seems there are no cloud saves at all, and If i delete the game I loose all the saves. Moreover, even disabling cloud saves, If i delete proton files it delete all the saves too.
Edit: on macosx cloud saves works, it seems only an issue with the steam deck
