I wouldn't recommend this game for the jigsaw portion of it. The rest of the game is fine except that I don't like doing mathematics and there is a math quiz puzzle included. Under the `other` section of the game I found a lot of enjoyable and different puzzles. Flipping was interesting and in general these are the reasons I would recommend this game. I will say the pictures are an interesting blend of photography, art and photo shopping and has a lovely Saturday Evening Post and very Norman Rockwell feel to them. The ideal Christmas fantasy for the eye which is very satisfying,
On the negative side; If you love jigsaws there are better games out there. This is more than basic it's awful. You constantly pick up wrong piece after wrong piece trying to pick up the one you want. Pieces will not go together in a group, every piece must be placed exactly over the spot it belongs. I don't mind not having a picture to work from but I do mind having a background outside the frame so busy you lose your last piece in it and have to spend time straining your eyes looking for it. In my opinion the developers were so rushed to release this game for Christmas they rushed through the jigsaw portion and gave 4 pages of frustration instead of a well thought out smooth and pleasant experience. When they missed the deadline this game should have been pushed back for release until all aspects were up to the standards required of good online jigsaw games.
I am hoping the developers will fix this issue giving us a means to separate edge pieces, get rid of the overly busy backgrounds and allow grouping of pieces that can be moved as one to another area on the board. Moving pieces you've matched one by one is tedious and not enjoyable.
If you don't care about jigsaws in particular then yes I believe you will enjoy this game, if jigsaws are you thing; unless you like being frustrated and bored I'd put off buying it until the developers make some changes.
