This somewhat short casual point-and-click adventure is quite satisfying, though it's not without problems.
The gameplay is good: the hidden-object scenes are excellent, and the puzzle mini-games offer significant yet fair challenges. The graphics have an original style that is effective, and the voice acting is far better than what we usually get in this genre. The story, while not very original or deep, is solid enough.
The problem is the somewhat clunky game engine. It's impossible to travel using the map, so you will have to do a lot of slow backtracking. The click zones for moving around are far too big, so that you will often move to another room by mistake. Also annoying is that sometimes your actions will unlock items in areas that you have already visited: it's not obvious that you have to revisit them, and it seems unfair that you could not have picked up the items during your first visit.
Still, the good outweighs the bad. This is a good little HOG.

Escape Shady Pines and Help The Patients and Discover Who You Really Are!
Committed is a Hidden Object Adventure games with slightly easy puzzles that basic but it have limited actions to do.
The Story:
This games about you (a female protagonist) that have been shot into coma that were done by a thief then you wake up after 3 years of comatose. The environments, Dr. Edwards, Little Girl (Stephanie) and patient triggered your curiosity of to discover about it and to escape it. That’s all I can tell, don’t want to spoil it. The story then assists by cutscenes, tape recorders, conversation, journal, and brain machines.
The Gameplay:
Committed is a HOPA (Hidden Object/Puzzle/Adventure) that relies heavily on the hidden object in which you have to revisit a hidden object scenes twice for some of it. However, the hidden object is classic and very well cluttered and some of them is hidden behind another item, so I have used hints for once or twice per scenes. Also the hidden objects is neither too big nor too small in terms of sizes, there are optimum to my eyes. The hint systems is not that you click then it choose random items but you have to click the text items that you desire to find but when it comes to adventure, there are no hint to assist.
There is a map that you get shortly afterwards but it is not transportable or functions as teleporter but it’s surely help me to find active areas. The puzzles not that entertaining but it have both challenge and easy. All I can say is that puzzles are not attractive to my eyes and basic. Anyway I manage to pass it and some of them refer to online walkthrough lol. But hey I didn’t skip them lol. The items that scattered in adventure side of this game is easily retrieve as there are glitter/sparks and they usually unlock when you interact on specific actions in which you need something to complete a missing item on pop up window same goes to hidden objects.
The Visuals:
The game itself is very greenish and grainy in terms of visual especially in the fountain area where there are lots of grain or not clean and clear. Some area is nicely done but still have grains. Even the cutscenes are grainy. The atmosphere is dark but you can adjust in the settings. I wish there are more animations in this game to make it more excitement.
Extras:
The game is a premium edition and contains a game guide (In journal), Bonus Chapter (in which I did not play yet), and 5 wallpapers.
I feel that this game need more time to be develop and there are so much void to fill in, is like the game lacks of something. I recommended this game to beginner as the puzzle are simple and basic and for Hidden Object Enthusiasts.

An oldie but a goodie. Story rich, dark in places, hidden object can be difficult cos very small and numerous items. Tis okay.
