I've only just discovered this, I'm unsure how it was such a hidden gem but having played the game and then finding out it's seemingly abandoned, it's fair to say I went through all the emotions. What a game. Really hope, as unlikely that it seems, that this is picked up again one day. The potential the game has is unreal, the fact that it's that old and still holds up as the best and most fun cricket VR game I've played in 2025 is mightily impressive. The game gets the risk and rewards spot on with with going for the various shot types, hitting a boundary has never felt so sweet. Everything from the sounds and the sometimes amusing reactions of the fielders and umpire to quirky visuals such as 4 or 6 appearing on the big screen for a boundary, the attention to detail is what I love.
Unsure what to do next, do I raise awareness for how great this game is or quietly continue to enjoy it? Long live Cricket Club!
