This pool game has two versions: 2D and 3D. However, in my opinion, the best version of Poolians is the 2D one, and I’ll explain why. Not only is it simpler to look at, with a more minimalist design, but it’s also much more comfortable and smooth to play. The experience is straightforward and to the point, which is especially noticeable when you’re playing with friends.
The 3D version does have more controls, more complex options, and better handling of angles and effects for each shot. But all that complexity ends up being impractical and, in my opinion, uncomfortable for the average player. Even though the 3D version tries to offer something more "professional" or advanced, it loses out on fun and accessibility, which are the most important aspects in the end.
If you’re looking for a more relaxed and straightforward pool experience to enjoy with friends or just have a good time without overcomplicating things, the 2D version is the ideal choice. It has everything you need for a great game: simplicity, comfort, and a much friendlier pace. So, if you ask me, I completely recommend the 2D version.

De este juego de pool hay dos versiones: 2D y 3D. Sin embargo, para mí, la mejor versión de Poolians es la 2D, y te voy a explicar por qué. No solo es más simple a la vista, con un diseño más minimalista, sino que también es mucho más cómoda y fluida para jugar. La experiencia es más directa, sin tantas vueltas, y eso se nota especialmente cuando lo jugás con amigos.
En la versión 3D, es cierto que tenés más controles, opciones más complejas y un mejor manejo de los ángulos y efectos en cada jugada. Pero toda esa complejidad termina siendo poco práctica y, en mi opinión, no resulta cómoda para el jugador promedio. Por más que el 3D intente ofrecer algo más "profesional" o avanzado, pierde en diversión y accesibilidad, que al final es lo que más importa.
Si estás buscando una experiencia de pool más relajada y simple, para disfrutar con amigos o pasar un buen rato sin complicarte, la versión 2D es la elección ideal. Tiene todo lo que necesitás para una buena partida: simplicidad, comodidad y un ritmo mucho más amigable. Así que, si me preguntás, recomiendo completamente la versión 2D.

Love the game, sometimes you must avoid players that challenge you because they be some pros in game, be careful if someone is named "Poolmaster3000" because you're going to get straight rocked in game!

Probably the best Pool game on steam

Nice game that people still play and enjoy with their friends or random people. I had issues with the cue that kept moving in the other direction but overall i had fun destroying my friends.

This game is the bread to my butter. The only thing that beats it in comparison is being able to play on the real felt of a pool table. That is the life.

Quality graphics and physics with an active player base.
