Before Nightfall

For as low as 0,50$ on a sale, you might as well grab it if you like survival games. The graphics is the only thing standing out for its low price. The game is quite simplistic, your main goal is to collect wood into a box and keep the fire going once you have lit it up. Personally think the dev has potential if he keeps working on games in this route. I'd definitely like to see an expanded game of the sort
It has got a few achievements, the achievements is done on between half an hour to two, depending on how well you do. They are not broken and they all work. The English used in the game could use some work, but that's only nitpicking.
TL;DR: simple game, but visually appealing. Small survival game

I think some of the other reviewers went in expecting more than they should have. For a 99 cents game this seemed more than fun enough. It's simple. Build a fire and don't let it die. Warm up by it then venture out into the forest, find wood, stoke the fire and fill a box with the extra. Fill a box of wood before nightfall and you'll survive. And that's about it, but like I said, for the price it's not bad. The graphics are actually crazy good, and the game runs quite well. There wasn't any music for me, so I recommend playing your favorite movie or anime OST in the background, especially thriller type music to add suspense.
Overall I've enjoyed my time with it so far. If you're looking for a game you'll boot from time to time for a 15 minute round this really fits the bill.

I'm going to go against the grain here and leave a positive review.
As a rule I don't like "survival" games because I find them far too complicated, but this looked like something I could deal with. Before the sun sets, explore the wilderness collecting firewood. Store enough to last you through the night, don't let the fire go out, and don't freeze to death. That's it.
You can see everything the game has to offer in less than an hour. But it does exactly what it advertises. What do you want for £0.99? Perhaps the dev could work on it a little more....make the animations better, the map a little bigger..but y'know...it succeeds in what it sets out to do. It doesn't try and be a 40+ hour simulation.

truly enjoyed the little i've played.
survival tag is there, simulation is more about winter, like, a good "winter-walking" simulator.

As a game, stupid, but it's beautiful! :)
Achievements: Easyish 100% / ~70min.
(I was lost so many time. FFS..)
I prefer summer version!

The game is quite beautiful, but the one map is all there is. The machanics are simplistic, but functional, just don't expect a huge challenge. You probably won't get more than an hour out of it, but then again that is alright for the asking price. Worth a shot.

A small survivor simulator where you got to survive a day in the winter by finding wood and not letting the fire die out before nightfall.
I believe it includes a VR mode as well.
