WEEKLY SEEDED MODE: If you don’t fancy randomness, every week a shared run is generated for all players. A predetermined sequence of weapons, upgrades, and harder waves with its own leaderboard to climb! A game mode that removes all randomness to let your raw skill shine.
TRY, DIE, REPEAT.
Hone your skills and discover more strategies with each 5-10 minute long attempt. Gradually increasing your capabilities until you become a master.

I saw some of the devlog series on this game and put it on my wishlist. It's been months or maybe even a year since I've done that. I have no recollection of what this game went through or WHY TF IT'S LESS THAN 500MG HOLY JESUS. but it's a good game and it helped resurrect my long dead grandma, so bonus points.
in all seriousness though, this game is underrated af and why is there only 24 reviews holy jesus :sob:

I'm really into games that I can play for both short & long bursts which keep me coming back because they are just pure fun without the need to think too hard.
Sandripper is perfect for this.
You can tell the (solo) dev who worked on this has really put in a crazy amount of effort.
Initially, I found it a little difficult to navigate the weapon/tank menus and get a grasp on the controls - but once it clicked, I found it easy to get used to. The core gameplay loop is really fun, upgrades are awesome and the chaos is spectacular. The dev also doesn't take the game too seriously, which you can see with the humour sprinkled throughout.
If I could give any feedback, I'd love to see some fleshed out / prettier upgrade cards - at the moment they are just basic drawings. I think the weapon descriptions/stats/information could be spaced out or have a clearer design to make them easier to read. I spotted a couple minor bugs too like some enemies just being grey Blender cubes lol.
Some background music (even if default royalty free), could be nice.

Overall - the game is VERY MUCH worth the price tag. If you're even slightly thinking about it, buy it. You will not regret it.
It's creative, fun and great to pass the time.

It's like Nuclear Throne except you're in a flying car, not locked to 45 FPS, and aren't taking blood pressure medication just to make it through the 3rd level. Fast, punchy, smooth, yet also well paced. It's too cheap and fun to be stuck with only 20 reviews, that's for sure.

This is simple, small, and an absolute joy. While it IS technically a roguelike with a sort of survivors style upgrades, you hit them after waves passed and it's more like a score attack game. These are usually the types of things that I play for a little bit, get bored of, and never come back to. I've come back to this one. I'm going to come back to it again. It's very good, and an absolute gem.
