Black Smith2 is a lewd resource management game about a young blacksmith and his prostitute girlfriend.
Gameplay
The goal of the game is to get the girl (right in the pussy!) The girl in question is a prostitute, and she costs money. Money doesn't grow on trees — you must play a rhythm game every week to advance your "Job Exp". Every so often, a merchant will come to purchase your wares. The amount of money you make is based on your skill (or Job Exp) as a blacksmith. In addition to paying off the girl, you must also manage your food and materials (which also costs money). As you hire the girl, you will gain "Feeling" and unlock new dialogue and sex scenes.
Story
There's this kid — we'll call him "Smithy". Smithy has inherited a forge, and he's absolutely clueless how being a blacksmith entails. However, as the only blacksmith in town, Smithy finds that his monopoly on market serves him well. He has regular customers, even if is work is strictly average. Smithy has needs just like any other dude, so he hits the brothel for a good time. He meets Maya (or whatever you name her as), and two fall in love.
Except I'm pretty sure Maya just sticks around for the paycheck.
Visuals
The titlescreen looks okay, as does the interface as a whole. "Language Selection" is self-explanatory. You can adjust audio and text preferences from "Config" in-game. The English isn't the best, but it's generally serviceable. Despite jacking-up the text speed, clicking through dialogue was still painfully slow. I'm a fast reader, so I don't like waiting for text to appear. There's a lot of repeat dialogue, which makes this problem even painfuller.
- The Goods-
There are a variety of animated, interactive CGs to encounter. There is no gallery, but you can view them most in-game days (if you got the money). You can choose a number of positions, the speed of thrust, and where to plant your seed. The animation is good, but there were a few times that it seemed. . . uncanny. I rather enjoyed the strong focus on drippy bodily fluids, though watching the good stuff drippy-drip might not be for everyone.
Verdict
I do recommend this game, but wait for a mean sale. It seems to be rough around the edges, between the gameplay and graphics. However, playing Black Smith2 was still an enjoyable experience. The game moves slower than I'd like, and I became somewhat fed-up with the monotonous gameplay. I think for twenty USD, this product should be a lot more refined. Regardless, if you're a fan of visual novels with resource management, I would suggest keeping an eye on this game from your Wishlist.

I want to say this game is too repetitive and overpriced but I somehow can't. The gameplay is fairly basic. You click the mouse to time your blacksmithing and as you gain levels, random npcs drop by and buy your items for however high your level is. It's like some weird art form where no negotiation or market demand exists, so the price just keeps going up and these npcs automatically buy your things for ungodly prices. What's left is somehow just spending all your income on food and a single prostitute who you have a weird almost romantic relationship with.
I like the art and the music, it's pretty relaxing for a eroge. Truthfully, if not for the fact that you have the option of visiting the whore house daily, I sometimes forget I'm not just playing a completely PG blacksmith simulator game. Where it starts to fall apart is the plot. The girl is clearly a prostitute but the fact that you can visit her daily makes it seem like no other clients exist. In fact, she even says she has no other clients. Realistically, I don't know how a whorehouse can survive with 1 client and 1 prostitute... And as you progress in the game, you can sometimes meet this girl in a coffee shop where you go on dates. But then she goes back to the whorehouse after... Which would be fine if not for the fact that she somehow is home to serve me dinner when I don't visit the whorehouse... I mean, what's happening? Did I play too efficiently? I mean, she shows up in the morning before work and between my blacksmithing job so she's obviously already living with me. But I still find her in the whorehouse at night waiting for me...? Huh...? So she's living with me but still works in the whorehouse and treats me as a customer...? Immersion breaking scenario.
Otherwise, I'd recommend you try to get it on sale. It's a fairly relaxing game to play.

Synopsis
Black Smith 2 is a rhythm game. Instead of hitting on a note you have to hit when the hammer strikes the anvil.
Story
You arrive in a new village and move into the old blacksmith's house. The rent was cheap and it looks like the blacksmith just decided to walk out one day and never came back, all of his tools are still there. You have made knives in the past, so you heated up the forge and started working some metal. After about a week the village started referring to you as the blacksmith.
Only merchants visit you and you've taken to talking to the water bucket in your shop. After a few days of this, it started talking back.
Gameplay
Your day consists of five time segments. You don't have a lot of control over what happens during those time segments. Normally you will work four. This involves just pressing the mouse button 10 times. You want to click when the head of the hammer is flat on the anvil. A "critical" hit will award you 10 experience points, a regular hit will award you five experience. You can get less, if the hammer isn't close to the anvil, one or three points depending on the distance away. The more experience you have, the more money the merchant will pay you for your work.
After work you can "Go to the store", which means visit Maya in the brothel, or go to sleep. The more frequently you visit Maya, the longer you will last. If you've been away for a while, you'll be a one pump chump, visit her daily and you can go all night. There is an HP bar, which really should be an excitement bar, when it hits 100 you'll blow your load.
There are six days to the week. A scrap seller will come on one day, the merchant on another, and you rest on the sixth. There are 30 days in the month. I was more than a little shocked that the rent was due, over 58K gold. Fortunately your landlord will let you wait until the 2nd month to pay.
There is a fishing mini game. You drop a line into the water and click when the fish takes the bait. The fish will feint a few times before actually striking. You will see the fish in the water coming to take the bait. There are fish of different sizes, the bigger the fish, the more food you get from it.
Food. I played this game for about two and a half months of game time and I can't tell you how food works exactly. It looks like you go through 4K food a day. This is one of the things that could use improvement, there are a lot of zeros in this game that could disappear. Why should you have to buy 20,000 food when you could buy 20 food? The same goes for a lot of the stuff you spend money on.
After you've visited Maya a few times and built up your relationship will her, she will use more than her mouth. Just like you she has an HP, excitement, bar. When she gets to 100% she will orgasm. Just like in real life, women are more slowly aroused than men, so you'll need to control yourself. There is a stop option that will lower your bar, but keep Maya's bar the same. As your experience with Maya grows, you will last longer then Maya.
The maximum feeling is 10. Maya will lose .5 feeling a day that you don't visit her, even if she's not available. There are "Dangerous" days with Maya. Once you have unlocked the bedroom you can actually give her a cream pie on those days. I don't believe she get pregnant, I only did it once, right in the middle of her "Dangerous" days. But her feelings for you go negative if you try to knock her up.
There is only one girl, Maya. There are four positions: oral, cowgirl, doggy, and missionary. As you progress in the game Maya will dress up in the bedroom for you. She has four outfits to select from: swimsuit, sailor suit, black lingerie, and nurse.

There is no Gallery, but you can visit Maya almost daily…provided you have the money.
Final Verdict
I really want to recommend this game, as Maya is gorgeous, but it is a real grind to get to do anything with her and the cost of this game is sky high when not on sale. If you get it, prepare for the grind.
