Another classic game that developers couldn't take five minutes to properly optimize. It's a shame when this happens. Is the game good? Yes, absolutely. Do I recommend buying it on Steam? No, Play it on another platform first.

When i read the reviews on steam i was expecting a bad port and awful controls, in my opinion the reviews couldn't of been more wrong this plays better than the original, works fine with ps5 controller the audio is also fine, either i am playing a updated version or the reviews are insanely unfair and you should get this port.
Devs you did a great job with this don't let the comments tell you otherwise.

Retro brilliance - this was a fantastic pair of games (Zombies... is the best BTW) years ago. Lessons in playability and atmosphere are sitting in this game.
Lucas film - make more games.

Doesn't take advantage of making a port - few features, poor save and screen issues (cant see lives. Am I having a senior moment?
When I was a teenager, Zombies... and Zelda kept me gaming. For different reasons of course.
They both have a feeling of immersion and atmosphere despite being - particularly by todays standards - simple.
I could never afford Ghoul Patroll (please remember premium cartridges were about £30 - £40 ( About £80 by now I guess).
To be contraversial - Zombies is the better game.
Both have a real manic feel to them.
The port, however, is a bit phoned in.
The saves are awful and other features could have easily been added - nearly £15 for ports which still have screen glitches pretty poor presentation is a bit steep.
More good than bad.

I played Zombies and ToeJam & Earl alot. Going back and forth quite often. Get bored with one, and play the other until you are bored of that one then go back. I cant say i beat zombies when i was younger, but i loved starting over with both games and having a fresh start. Today i could easily spend some hours playing one or the other.

ZAMN has a save function now, and that's all I really wanted.
But for real though, great port, the only problem is the lack of control mapping.
