THAT’S IT! WE’VE HAD ENOUGH! NO MORE FISHING! THE SEA IS CLOSED!
Defend the sea from the menace of these sailors, who wish for nothing more than to embark on another fishing trip. Unite the denizens of the sea to stop the coming menace before they can reach their vessel.
There are no health bars or damage numbers here, only mass. Instead of defeating an enemy through traditional means, you’ll need to push and pull your foes off the dock and into the sea to stop them from setting off to fish the sea once again.
Features:
- A new way of playing a tower defense with no health bars, only mass
- Unique challenges across 15+ levels
- 8 wacky different towers to stop the sailors
- In game jukebox to play your favorite tracks over and over…
- An original soundtrack by Matthew Martino Music

Goofy and fun Tower Defense Game. Works on Steam Deck, just use the right track-pad.

Creative take on TD-based games, putting physics at the heart of the defense. Pushing people into the ocean rather than just outright murdering them makes this feel a little more justifiable.
It's really not the fishes fault if people can't swim.
10/10 OSHA approved.

The physics emphasis makes this a lot more challenging than you would initially expect. You have a fairly wide range of different "tools", and their interactions can both help and harm you; you can easily accidentally help the sailors along to their destination by misapplying your fish, and a placement that works really well for one type of enemy can cause another type of enemy to fly right by all your other defenses.
There are regular units, fast units, heavy units, large units; enemies come in singles, or in dense clusters. The right tool for the job is incredibly important.
Just the right degree of challenging, so far, although I'd really like the ability to just auto-trigger each new wave when the previous wave ends.

Why did I buy this 2D Tower Defense game? I love the theme, but most of all I love the music. Throw on some headphones and enjoy. March of the Drunken Sailors is lighthearted and you can upgrade your little sea helpers to knock the cute enemies off the deck.
The glaring issue though is that sometimes your sea creatures just knock the enemies around on the dock and the game never continues until you take away your tower and replace it with a different type of tower.I'm sure the dev will work on this issue. It's funny to look at and goes with the theme of sailors being drunk, but maybe the drunk sailor can just fall in because the game cannot continue.
Conclusion: Before I'd purchase this game, see if the developer has made updates. I enjoy this game mostly for the music and would consider it at the bottom tier of TD games, but the theme is brilliant, fun, and humorous.
