This game is so good, the combat, the difficulty, the achievements, even the little things like getting all the collectables and the strategy from different vial combos. This game should not be free.

Bloody Hell is a bullet hell game that manages to be fun and challenging by keeping a familiar formula and adding just the right amount of its own flavor. It feels like Enter The Gungeon met with The Binding of Isaac's religious cynicism. I love it.
For a free game, it has a surprising amount of depth and polish - I kept finding little things that impressed me even until I finished the game, like how when you equip the power-up elixirs through the classic RE4 styled inventory system, the liquid in the bottle will flip upside down as you spin it. It's a little thing, but I was especially impressed because I assume a small team made this game and then released it for free with that quality of attention to detail.
There's not too much else I can think to say right now - the gameplay speaks for itself.

A Bloody Good Time!
Bloody Hell delivers an exhilarating experience that kept me hooked from start to finish. From its intense gameplay to its captivating soundtrack and charming design, this game truly stands out as a gem in the indie gaming scene. And it's completely free!
Gameplay
The gameplay in Bloody Hell is nothing short of thrilling. With its fast-paced action and strategic elements, every moment feels like a pulse-pounding adventure. The combat mechanics are incredibly satisfying, offering a perfect balance between challenge and reward. Whether you're facing off against hordes of enemies or engaging in intense boss battles, each encounter feels uniquely dynamic and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are many different variations of enemies to encounter, and the exploration feels nice and rewarding.
Music
The soundtrack of Bloody Hell is an absolute masterpiece. From haunting melodies to adrenaline-pumping beats, the music perfectly complements the gameplay and enhances the overall experience. It effortlessly immerses you into the game's world, adding another layer of depth to an already captivating journey. Each track feels carefully crafted to evoke emotion and elevate the action, making every moment memorable.
Design
The pixel art style is visually stunning and incredibly immersive; the design of Bloody Hell is a testament to the talent and creativity of its developers. The environments are richly detailed, filled with intricate textures and atmospheric lighting that bring the game world to life. Character designs are equally impressive, with each enemy and protagonist exuding personality and charm. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the game, from the smallest animation to the grandest set piece, making Bloody Hell a work of art.
Critique
There's not much to say here other than a missing interactable map, more enemy base types, and a missing possibility to teleport to checkpoints without visiting heaven. Being able to reset the upgrade tiles for the blood vials would be good too.
Conclusion
Bloody Hell is a must-play for any fan of action-packed/metroidvania gaming experiences. With its gripping gameplay, captivating soundtrack, and stunning design, it offers an unforgettable journey that will keep you coming back for more. Don't miss out on this bloody good time!
