Shoot ‘m Up
Tactical multiplayer chaos.
That’s what would describe this game in 3 words. It’s fast, it’s messy, it’s challenging. Do you like blowing up zombies to bits together with your friends? Protecting your base from the enemy team? Grab your gear and start the chaos!
Shoot ‘m Up is a fast-paced tactical shooter with lots of different game modes. The game features a customizable server, offline gameplay, a short campaign that acts as a tutorial, LAN and multiplayer action, custom maps (with a map editor), smooth gameplay, stunning graphics and awesome effects. You can currently try the Deathmatch, capture the flag, or team-deathmatch mode – just shoot at each other or at bots using one of the 18 different weapons; or you can jump into co-op zombie survival mode so you and your friends can hold off as many zombies as you can!

Development
The game has been in development for quite a while, and I think I’m at a solid base right now. This doesn’t mean it’s done! The game might undergo updates as we go, from bugfixes to new content to performance improvements. I’m a solo developer that hates sluggish games, and gameplay is the number one priority for me. Getting the game to run great and feel smooth on every machine is an important goal for me.
So far I’ve been making this game on my own, with testing help of the closed-beta community and the map-building skills from a friend.

A very fun but challenging game! From what I have seen there are a lot of different weapons! There is also a very short campaign that is to be continued. There are currently a couple of servers of which half contain bots. The game seems to feature everything modern multiplayers shooters do, such as class selection, map selection, voting. The combat is pretty satisfying. The audio seems good to me but I haven't paid much attention to it. I haven't played it a lot yet, but it seems like a fun game for sure!

Solid gameplay, top down shooter experience.
Great sound effects, excellent blood splatter, satisfying combat.
Check it out!
The game is really fun and the dev is really passionately working to address all the issues.
My original (negative review) is below.

The bits of the game that I got to play were fairly fun.
Unfortunately, the game crashes when I click on multiplayer mode as well as campaign mode.
I am sure with some work, this game is going to be a great time eventually, but beware if you are purchasing it now.
It needs a lot of work.

Shoot 'm Up is a game crafted with love, that's clear to me immediately. The campaign included currently takes around ~15 minutes but it serves as a demo for the full campaign to come. For what's currently there I had a chuckle or two at some of the dialogue and the gameplay itself is familiar and easy to grasp. The bulk of your playtime currently would be spent in either the Zombie Survival or Online Deathmatch modes, and both of these function as you would expect. These modes don't offer a huge amount of content but considering this is early access it serves as a fine baseline for the modes and I ran into little to no problems playing them.
The developer himself has reacted to constructive criticism well, and genuinely cares about making this game the best it can be, I recommend joining the official discord if you wish to talk to him and suggest stuff directly, I know he'll appreciate it.
The game also comes with an in-built map and asset editor, which will also provide some entertainment to those who enjoy creating arenas to eradicate zombies or other players.
Overall I do reccomend this game, although there isn't the most amount of content currently the game is still in development, and more importantly - it works.
