Shadow Fear™ Path to Insanity
There’s been several reports of disappearances in the neighbourhood of Lencour. You are given the hint that the old mansion in the mountains might just be the host of these mysterious disappearances.
You feel the need to go see for yourself, but you also have no choices…
Just as you decide to get your apparel ready, you receive a call from your niece announcing that her mother went to the mountains to investigate, but she never came back. Frantic, you pack your camera, take the bare minimum and rush to the mountains. An endless night is about to get down! Your goal: find your sister and survive this fatal night…
This game is a FPS survival horror in the style of Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Outlast. Will you survive to find your sister and ultimately solve the puzzles lurking behind the madness?
The game as been made entirely with the Smile Game Builder engine and as not been exported to Unity to customize it in any way! So this game is an example of what you can do with the SGB engine without any knowledge of programation whatsoever! Keep in mind when playing that this engine is made to creat JRPG and not FPS survival horror!
The game can be played entirely in english or in french! Le jeu peut être joué entièrement en anglais ou en français!
*If you have any problem installing the DLC uninstall the game and reinstall it at the same time as the DLC, it should fix it.*

This game need more fixes such as control binding, The game window can freeze and not respond during couple minutes but it comes back to normal after a short time. In the sewer close to the boss there is a computer for saving and the key to open menu did not respond and I had to open and close the computer to make the menu key work. There were some walls I could see through. Moving and keeping pressing on space to attack was not easy especially in combat and when I had to heal myself.
The dlc chapter 0 is broken because instead of playing catherine you play as Nathan. If you come back later behind the car you will hear Nathan calling himself to call for help. I did not pay too much for the dlc at least and I did not know before there was an issue with that last.
I had played and reached the end of the game once. It was not easy even on normal for the puzzles. Some are hard to understand but there is a game guide made for that and I had helped to complete it for eventually new players. Generally you get used to the game after a time.
Finally even the game has issues I had enjoyed it so much. The game just keeps you curious about continuing. I liked killing enemies and clean the place. I recommend buying the game at very low price. Just the base game.
