A nice but difficult puzzle game involving traffic.

It's a fun little traffic management puzzle game, with various types of creative challenges, going way beyond the classic "just make sure everyone gets everywhere fast".
Does not run on the Steam Deck/Linux out of the box, but you can install the dotnet bullsh!t manually by using Bottles (found on the Discover store in desktop mode on the Deck, and similarly as flatpak on regular Linux), enabling managing of proton profiles in the settings, and then once you find the game (might need to restart the app, and if that still doesn't work, try running the game at least once (don't click anything, just terminating it via Steam is already enough), and restart Bottles again); then go one by one thru all the "dotnet" in the dependencies and install them, including the "core" ones (I have not bothered checking which versions are needed, just added all of them, takes too long. After all that is done, you can close bottles, close Steam in case you had it open, and reopen steam/go back to game mode on the Deck; and then you can finally play the game (no control mappings yet, but it can be played with just mouse, most of it is already in the standard no-layout stock layout, you might just need to set an unused button for the middle-button mouse click if I'm not mistaken).

Great game, more than worth its price (8 bucks at this time)
The demo contains the whole tutorial section of the game, which will be able to tell you if the game is worth buying for you or not.
That's exactly what a demo should do!

Road Engineer is a game where you need to think and think well if you want to win 3 stars for each levels, sometime you'll need to do the level 3 times to earn the 3 stars, but it's very rewarding when you do it in one try.
If you enjoy a good mental challenge, this game will provide you with hours of exciting and challenging gameplay.
The tutorial needs some refinement to be more user-friendly.
For those who like to "case their head" a bit, Road Engineer is definitely worth a try.
