Death Motel
I’m Joe Salinger, a dedicated paranormal investigator. I couldn’t resist delving into the rumors circulating about ghostly sightings at Crimson Motel.
The unsettling news revolves around a chilling incident from several months ago: a maniacal psychopath brutally murdered two teenagers within the hotel’s walls.
In response, the management abruptly shut down the motel, citing “renovations” as a cover.
During the supposed renovations, a wave of eerie occurrences unfolded. Construction workers reported encountering apparitions, and some even suffered severe mental distress, compelling them to abandon their work at the site.
The enigma shrouding Crimson Motel piqued my curiosity; it’s precisely the kind of mystery I thrive on.
Armed with my investigative prowess, I am determined to gather concrete evidence within the hotel’s haunting confines. Backed by my comprehensive computer setup in the van, I will meticulously process all the information I collect. My ultimate goal is to capture undeniable proof of these spectral entities on video camera.
If I manage to record any ghostly apparitions, that would be my invaluable contribution to unraveling the secrets veiled within the Crimson Motel.

Interesting at first, but boring at the end!
But the atmosphere is indescribable.
I love indie games. Please add co-op in the next update.

Atmosphere - 10/10, the creepy "Crimson" motel is genuinely terrifying. The sounds are mind-bending, and yes, the jumpscares will make you jump!
Great horror for those short on time. Less than an hour to explore, gather clues, and get your dose of fear. Worth every penny for the intense thrill!

genuinely tense for a short game. playing as joe salinger exploring the abandoned motel feels creepy as hell, especially knowing the backstory about the murders. running is an option but honestly walking makes it way scarier. the jumpscares got me a couple of times but the eerie silence is what actually keeps you on edge. capturing evidence feels rewarding. worth the time for sure.

It's a good game, and I generally enjoyed it, but there are some flaws. I really liked the sound design, but there are moments when the sounds are unrealistic. The atmosphere was also creepy, and I prefer horror games with a creepy atmosphere rather than scary jump scares.

Is the entire emphasis placed on sound? Hmm, that's a bold decision! Sound + proper lighting + excellent graphics + low price - no scary screamers.
That's how it is.
DM isn't perfect, but I like the second part of the game better. It's more developed for us.
Short, but cheap. I think that's fair. But I can't recommend this game to everyone; only some fans of specific horror games will like it.
