I just had a moment and felt inspired to expand on Prince's song 'Jam of the Year.' This idea would serve as both an homage and a continuation, reimagined with the intention of using it with WEJAM as an engaging exercise for a workshop.
Jam Of The Day
(V1) The night unfolds, like a quest to explore, Levels of sound, unlocking the floor. A pixelated dream, where time doesn't bind, In this endless loop, the groove rewinds.

WEJAM brings the fun in making music by yourself, with a friend or even in a group. The tutorial is great and very easy to learn the game with ease and use any number of creative ways to Jam music together.

For $2.99 I definitely recommend this, as it's a solid baseline for a great tool and a fun app! The devs have also informed me that more content and features will be added in the future, which is awesome! Right now, there isn't much point in playing offline solo jams, but the great thing is you can join up with other players/users and have a co-op jam session too! At the very least, this app is a worthy and fun toy to mess around with beat ideas, and if/when more features are added, this could/would be a quite powerful music production tool with the added ability to make beats with friends and randoms alike! At the price of $3, I have to recommend this for anyone who's even remotely interested in the concept.

WEJAM is best enjoyed with other people, be it playing with friends or strangers online. It is very easy to pick up and have some fun with, even if you're not necessarily the most tech or music savvy person. At the current price I can definitely recommend it to anyone that has an interested in electronic music or music making in general.

Simple but nifty little app to jam with friends... might trigger new track ideas.
