My corgi is Corgster, a Pembroke Welsh good boy. What type of corgi will you be? Tri-color? Blue Merle?, or more? Want Hats, Glasses, or Capes? Yes, please!
Can you pet the dog? Well… you ARE the dog! Let people pet YOU! Boop other dogs you find, too!

My kids have been looking forward to this game since they first played an early build of it at PAX a few years back. They were extremely excited that it has a full release and they absolutely love playing it. They are currently 9 and 6 years old and have no problems playing it by themselves.
I recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy game and I definitely recommend it for any other parent out there that wants a chill game for their children to play. Even if your child is very young (my kids have played this and games like it since they were 3-4), games like this with no combat and no time limits are great for teaching children how to use a controller and get to know gaming.
I've been hearing my kids say "I need more Corgi butt power!" all day today :D

Similar to other folks here, I've been visiting Scalisco's PAX booth for the last few years to check out their demo updates and I'm excited to see that A Corgi's Cozy Hike is officially out! It's an incredibly cozy game with fun mechanics fit for all ages. If you're a millennial who loved Spyro as a kid, you'll dig this game. It's kind of like Spyro meets Animal Crossing in a way? It's a great nostalgia hit.
I like that you can explore anywhere as exploration's an important part of games for me. You can do what you want - the game doesn't force you to really do anything even though your main objective is to help others and get to the top of the mountain. You can just endlessly explore and be silly all while having nice moments with NPCs. Highly recommended and fun, chill experience!

I first demoed this game at Pax East in 2024 and loved it. The game has cute mechanics and really captures a corgi’s personality like barking at everything! Can’t wait to keep playing more and finding everything the game has to hold.

Been following Scalisco's journey the past few years and am so excited this game has finally dropped! Lots of fun has been had in the demos, and much more to be had in the full release!

Perfect low-stakes game to play with my child. We play it on Steam deck, which may have some graphical mishaps, but overall it runs just fine at 30fps with lower graphics settings.
There are some fun, interesting things to discover and just play around with, the demo is pretty indicative of what to expect from the game. A bit more polishing here and there wouldn't hurt, but overall, the game accomplishes what it sets out to do in its current state.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of the game, Authentic corgi game allowing the player to bark as fast as they can mash a button. Environments were really fun to explore in! No real challenges in the game, very casual for sure.
