Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 falls under the genre of cinematic games, which means it has a fairly linear storyline without resource gathering or item collection. However, the developers have still given us the joy of finding secrets. One of these secrets is the runic totems (Lorestangir) that have returned from the first part of the saga. This guide will help you find them and earn the "Tales of Midgard" achievement.
What are Lorestangir?
Lorestangir are totems adorned with runes. When you find one, you need to use the "Focus" ability. Doing so will illuminate one of the runes on the totem, and you'll hear a part of Druth's legend. If you find a totem but notice a previous rune is dark when you focus, it means you've missed some totems. There are 18 totems in total, and they appear in a specific order. After completing the game, you can return to the missed totems to get the achievement and listen to Druth's entire legend.
Chapter 1
Lorestangir 1
Section: "Landing on the Shore" - Missing the first totem is almost impossible as the voices in the protagonist's head will guide you to it. This is how the developer introduces us to the Lorestangir mechanic. It is located on the starting beach.
Chapter 2

Section: "Freyslaug Found" - While escorting the captured slaver, pay attention to the lone straw huts on your right. Behind them, you'll find the totem. Don't worry, the captive won't run away if you leave him briefly.

Section: "Homecoming" - After completing the quest in the first raided village and obtaining the mirror, you'll reach a bridge leading to another village. Follow the path until you encounter a large house with an altar and a gallows. Pass through it, and go around the house on the left side. There you will find the totem.

Section: "Draugr Ceremony" - The storyline will lead you to a sacrificial ceremony. After walking along a narrow ledge, jump down the path. After passing through a short corridor, look for a wooden ladder against the left wall. This will lead you to the totem.

Section: "Meeting the Stranger" - After dawn, the freed stranger will lead you to his village. After passing the destroyed bridge, notice the pillar standing near the road and a path leading to the left. The totem is on this path. Don’t rush, Fargimr will wait for you.
Chapter 3

Section: "Red Hills" - As soon as Fargimr leads you to the ruined village, at its very beginning, you'll see a round stone with runes and a pillar. Turn left from it. Reaching the ruined house, you will find the totem.

Section: "On the Hill" - Once you arrive in Fargimr's settlement, you should explore it. Climb to the top of the hill, and you will find the totem near a house.

Section: "On the Hill" - After solving the sphere puzzle, a passage will open. Go through it a bit until you see a small ledge on the left that you can climb. Squeeze through the crevice, and at the dead end on the right, you'll find the totem.

Section: "On the Hill" - Continuing onwards, after some time, you’ll come across another crevice. This will lead you to the totem.

Section: "On the Hill" - When you reach a cave, don’t rush to descend into it. To the right of the cave is an area with the totem.

Section: "Find the Hidden Folk" - After entering the cave, you’ll need to solve another sphere puzzle. The totem will be on the ceiling. Use the rainbow bubbles to lower it.
Chapter 4

Section: "Entering the Caves" - Following the storyline, at one point, you’ll need to jump into a small pool. After this, keep to the right. This side path has the totem.

Section: "Cave Entrance" - After passing through a flooded corridor and solving a brazier puzzle, a bridge will appear before you. Cross it, find a descent on the right, jump down, and examine the totem.

Section: "Sacrifice" - After studying the previous totem, continue along the storyline until you reach a ledge. Jump down from it and turn right. The totem will be in that direction.
Chapter 5

Section: "To the Sea" - Emerging on the surface, you’ll be accompanied by companions. At one point, they will disappear. After this, proceed a bit further, keeping to the right. You will see a gorge leading to a waterfall. The totem is located there.

Section: "Sjavarrisi" - Move further until you find another crevice. Continue along the storyline to the next crevice. Keep to the right, then crawl through the passage directly to the totem.

Section: "A New Question" - After encountering puzzles on the beach, start solving them. When you find the symbol resembling a trident, the main storyline will lead you higher to an area with blue fog. Don’t rush there; you’re interested in another foggy area located behind the shipwreck, below. Passing through it, you will see the totem.

Section: "A New Question" - When you are told about the second giant's story, you will find a village. Enter it and keep to the left. Climb the hill and find the last totem.
