As the lead programmer of this game, I can say we really put a lot of thought into making a game with constant action, no downtime. I of course recommend the game, it is a great game in times like these, hop in and play a few games with your friends who you can no longer see in person!

I know the artists behind this game, and was there when it was pitched for our college course. I'm glad to see this game got to continue, and even got its own release. After playing this game, I have to say I had a lot of fun! I love the premise of reliving childhood imagination in a cowboy-themed setting. The characters and their backstories, as well as the abilities of the enemies were pretty funny. There are some things that could use improvement, such as character animations and multiple maps, but overall this game is very worth the two bucks! Keep up the good work you guys!

I know one of the people that worked on this game and it's great seeing it come to life. It takes a lot of hard work to do something like this. Worth spending the 2 bucks just to support these guys, and play a fun game.

Before I played Five-Finger Gunslinger, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

Ah to be a child in the wild west killing sentient cacti again, Stealing friends away from my sworn enemies and enjoying hucking water ballons at those who betray me. Seriously though this is a pretty fun lil' nugget. The art fits and is sooper cyoote. The gameplay is engaging and satisfying, even playing against bots. I like hunting my enemies down and slowly stealing their friends away and draining any hope of them winning. Map is a lil' big but playing with friends should ellievate that. Overall, worth the two bucks. :))

TDLR; There are a few things that could be fine-tuned to make it a more enjoyable experience but for a free game it was a lot of fun! I would be very interested in more maps, ability to upgrade weapons and maybe an implementation of a enemy wave mode instead of just a timed event. All in all 6.5/10
A friend and I decided to play this cute looking game and we enjoyed the art and entertaining descriptions of the playable characters. For a free game it was a good amount of fun and kept us entertained for a bit. There are some things that we noticed could be patched to improve quality of gameplay;
First thing, when my friend loaded up the game it caused the chat program we were using to crash and he had to restart it a few times.
Also, after playing a match it disbands the party and in order to play with friends again you have to exit to main menu and make a new lobby. We noticed when making a lobby you cannot look at the lobby list as it will not show anything available and instead have to hit the auto join lobby
The CPU opponents are nice to have if it ends up being a solo player run or you don't have a 3rd friend to join, only notable thing with them is that it would be nice to be able to change the type of character they play as so they are not both Five-Finger Gunslinger character. The character AI's also get stuck in walls and sit there taking 'damage' the whole round.
With the cactus-bandits the battle AI seems to be struggling a bit. There are times where there will be 10-15 of them walking in place, or stuck in walls. The Crystal Cactus hold up their shield for too long in personal opinion, there should be a way to show damage on the shield to show it breaking, sort of making it a durability type thing instead of a timed thing. The Disaster Cactus seem to be able to dodge almost every attack very quickly without an explanation as to why only they can dodge every attack.
Weapons were fun and cute, loved the bubble concept. Five-Finger Gunslinger was not a very accurate shot so it was hard to determine if there are damage zones on the cactus-bandits, like if headshots matter or not. He also seemed to be the weakest type in regards to damage dealt out. Rancher Enchanter was really fun to play, I wish there is was an animation of the bubble popping with showing how different sized bubbles changed the size of the AOE damage dealt just to get a scope of 'oh with 2 bandits I can half charge and with more bandits I should full charge and it does more' kinda visual feel. He was more midtier with damage dealt. Astronaut Aquashot was a ton of fun to play, personally my favorite character. She could deal a ton of damage and mow through cactus-bandits it felt like. In regards to refilling her gun it was quick to refill the water, the pressure took some time and I wish it was more along the lines of you lose pressure more when you shoot and slower when you don't shoot instead of a constant rate of pressure loss. It also sometimes felt that the water shot just went through the cactus-bandits and did not actually deal any damage.
Last thing I can think of is in regards to the grenades they sometimes worked, and sometimes didn't work. It was truly luck of the button press and it would have been nice if there was a splash animation where they landed to show AOE damage as well as accuracy.

It's a fun game, when it works. I played it with two friends over the internet.Bugs:-In match: Main menu button on end screen sometimes doesn't work Sometimes can't move Sometimes water balloon doesn't work Shadow enemies can teleport into your hitbox, instantly causing you to lose coolness-Menu: Create lobby button sometimes doesn't work Created lobbies aren't visible to other players-Other Alt-tabbing out of the game and going back in sends you back into the join lobby menu, and joining a lobby can cause you to overlap with another player in the character select screenFeature request: Replay match instead of going back to the main menu every time Better sound effects Sound options in match
